I took Monday and Tuesday off and had a lovely time at home :)  Saw Sue my midwife on Tuesday and she's happy with our progress so far, listened to the baby's heartbeat :) and baby has a nice strong heartbeat.

Bobbeltjie is getting very busy in my tummy house!  He/she is very active in there!  Spoke to Sue a bit about my guilty feelings and she assured me that it's perfectly normal for a second time pregnancy, often the bonding is done only when baby is there.  So I'm not going to stress about it so much any more.  She also said that with second pregnancies you have a lot more painful strectchy sensations and braxton hicks (which I didn't have with Lila at all).  And that the actual labour is a lot quicker.  I just have to go for a hemoglobin test to see that my iron levels are ok because I am very pale and tired which is  a sign of iron deficiency.

Taking Lila to the doc this afternoon - we both are a bit fluey.  Will speak to her about taking the bloodtest then.

I feel like I'm disconnected from my daughter...I don't know why maybe I'm just hormonal again lol.  I also haven't really felt the baby move in a couple of days so I am feeling a bit fragile.  Don't know when I'll go for a check up again depends on when the scan machine thingie is back at the doc's office. 

I have to start seeing the midwife soon - will have to discuss options with her.  I don't think there is space in my house for a birthing bath.  Will have to see...
