EYES

"Wondering what colour your baby's eyes will be? Most Caucasian babies are born with dark blue eyes and their true eye colour -- be it brown, green or blue -- may not reveal itself for weeks or months. The colour of your baby's eyes in the first minutes after birth won't last -- exposure to light changes a baby's initial eye colour. Most African and Asian babies usually have dark grey or brown eyes at birth -- their dark eyes becoming a true brown or black after the first six months or year. Multiracial children often turn out to have the most beautiful coloured eyes".

Scan & CTG

Had a scan and ctg yesterday to make sure bump wasn't too small.  All is well

When we were looking at the scan bump had his back to us so no good picture was taken, bump did however give us the thumbs up whilst we were looking at his/her hand on the monitor which was good and very funny.

The monitoring CTG was about half an hour long and was fine, no need for me to see the doctor so I was sent on  my merry little way.

We purchased a swing chair yesterday, it's got lights, and swimming fishies and chilled tunes

Work, what's that life on maternity leave is good, just counting the days now until I am considered full term.......

FOUR weeks to go

"You may feel that your baby has run out of room! You''re close to the finish line, but there is still time and space for the baby to grow.

The baby's weight is similar to a large bunch of bananas!"

For info!

Went to antenatal again today and felt much better about it than last week, this week I didn't come out and burst into tears saying "it's all too much, surely I cannot dilateTHAT big".  I can do this. It's allgood. ;-)

Work is becoming a distant memory and I am settling into matenity leave like a fish to water. FOUR weeks to go !!!!
