Pregnancy Reflections

Fourth Month

What I least expected with this pregnancy was:
The severe sickness/ weight loss!

The best bit of advice I've received is:
My mum says to me all the time, 'please make sure you eat anything at all you feel like eating, go to any restaurant, don't spare any expense......and rest very well'. The midwife also says I need to start talking to baby.....nice!

What has changed the most in my life with this pregnancy is:
I'm no longer the social butterfly I used to be.........and I cannot conveniently lie on my chest to sleep!!!

  This month's ultrasound was:
We went for this month's ultrasound four days ago. We were really excited. Baby was fine and moving about, swimming in the fluid. We heard its heartbeat, fab!! Head is big like his daddy's (lol)but its just the age, this is going to change.........and it looks so so cute!

At my prenatal visit this month I discovered that:
We need to start talking to baby as it can recognize our voices. We need to sing too. I'll be playing my country music and jazz all the way...........very calming!

  My hopes:
I have almost fully recovered from all illness now. I hope the good health continues until and after the birth. I look fab and I'm glowing.........I hope that carries on. I pray I don't get too big, so far so good. Baby is healthy......how do I know?? This one is different, he's God's special gift to us this year! God knows about him.

  My fears:
But God has not given me a spirit of fear..............I have a sound mind!
