I didn't write about it before but I had a cold about 4 weeks ago, nothing too bad and I got over it with over the counter stuff. 3 days ago I started to get the same tickle in my throat and I knew I was going to get sick. I called to ask what I could take and got tylenol cold, and cough drops. It hit full blown the next day, coughing, fever but funny no congestion or runny nose. I slept ok the first night but the second night I had a horrible cough and only slept 3 hrs, today I had congestion, even worse cough, runny nose, headache so I went to the doctor. I was put on antibiotics, and given cough syrup with codeine so I could sleep :) I am waiting for Kevin to get home now so that he can take Niya and I can get some rest I don't want to ruin our 4th of July tomorrow.
I still have my appt in two weeks, the babies are doing fine baby A heartbeat is 150 and baby B is 160, they were both moving a lot during the doppler. She also checked and I'm not dilating at all which is excellent and the best news of all....ONLY 7LBS GAINED. Althouh I am quite uncomfortable I have to admit this is a pretty good pregnancy so far.

no lap for laptop
I am now officially 21 weeks and I am saying I have only 15 weeks to go because twins are full term at 36 weeks.
Needless to say I am HUGE!!! so big that my laptop no longer fits on my lap, because my belly has completely taken over, all I can do laugh, and Joi laughed at me too, Kevin just left the room.
Starting this week when I sit up I can see a bump, don't know if its a head or a rump, but its still really cool. With my new growing belly, I now cannot eat much at all, therefore I am eating almost every hour just to get in the nutrients I need.
I can't wait until my next appointment on July 17th

It has begun...
Yesterday I had 3 people ask, when are they due...any day now, and I love the shocked look on their faces when I say no I'm only half way there. Then I tell them its twins, it's to be expected I look as if I'm about 7 months pregnant now, and to tell you the truth I feel like it too.
I had an episode day before yesterday and it felt like I couldn't get enough air, and my side was hurting, I called the doctor and they said the baby probably has a foot in my diaphram and to eat or drink something sugary to get her moving, drank Mt. Dew and it did the trick.
This pregnancy is definitely different to say the least but I am enjoying the experience pain and all.
