Baby has arrived!

2008-09-25  (33 weeks)
33 week appointment

I had another ultrasound today to check their growth and they are doing well here are their stats:

Baby A - Heartrate 148BPM, 5lbs 1oz, side laying (transverse)

Baby B - Heartrate 142BPM, 4lbs 9oz, side laying (transverse)

Although they are doing well, I may not be, my last couple of appointments I have been having high blood pressure, along with the swelling it is a bit of cause of concern of Preeclampsia so starting next week I go in twice a week to get my pressure and urine checked to make sure that's not the case, only cure for it is delivery so we will just have to see.

She said she won't even discuss planning delivery until 38 weeks but she doesn't seem to think I will make it that far anyways, but we want to keep them in as long as possible, my guess/hope is 36 weeks if so only a little over 3 weeks to go (yippee!!!!)

I don't think I can do this anymore...
I am a big ball of emotions and its mainly due to the pain, and the swelling in my feet and ankles have completely taken over.  It is hard to take care of myself let alone take care of my little girl, its just so so so so hard, I don't know how much more I can really take.  I just know the longer they stay in the better.  Only a few more weeks to go.

Still sick plus a lot more...

Well let's start where I left off, I was definitely feeling worse on Saturday, cough, runny nose and just felt blah, not to mention I ran into the doorjam and broke my toe.  I had an appointment to get my hair done, I got micro's put in (they took so long) we started at 5pm at my house and she didn't leave until 2am (not done) So I called her the next morning to come to her to finish, I got there at 10am and around 1:30pm she had about 4 braids left but the power went out, she was able to finish it up and I left to go home.

Now I knew it was supposed to rain that day but when I left her house the wind was blowing so hard, trees were coming down and everything.  It was an half and hour drive home so I figured it had to be winds from Hurricane Ike causing this mess and assumed it would blow over, but our power was out all day.  We had huge branches down in our yard, and had to cook on our grill the first day, the next day it was a struggle and long lines to get gas and food because only a few places were open.  We didn't have power again last night and slept at my cousins house.  Well I couldn't, I got worse than ever, coughing so bad I almost threw up and the pressure in my face was unbearable, not to mention that my toe was basically just dangling.  So at 2:30am I went to the hospital.

Diagnosed with a broken pinky toe and Bronchitis and upper respitory infection, I am still feeling pretty bad right now hoping the meds antibiotics work fast, at least at night I can take my cough syrup that knocks me out :) I see my OB on thursday so I will update again then, wish me luck with all of this.

OH NO not again...

I am sick...again...just like during the Fourth of July.  The itchy throat started very early morning Thursday, and it turned to a painful sore throat last night.  I found that tylenol helps to take away some of the pain, but I know its an infection so I know its only going to get worse without meds, which means I have to suffer through the weekend ARGGHHHHH!!

The babies have been extremely active and my energy level is really low I can barely walk without being really winded. I keep getting nervous thinking its going to happen soon (like sooner than at least 36 weeks) but I know as long as my water doesn't break we can stop the birth so I am not worried one bit.
