Hello Mom, Dad, & My Little Peanut,
This is G-ma Val (a.k.a. GeeMa, MiMi, and so forth). I'm still trying to settle on a special name; I'm beginning to believe that I will not settle on the real grandma name until after I hear you call me that special name.
I was with your mom and dad during the ski trip to Snowshoe, WV. We all had a wonderful time. This was my first opportunity to see how much you had grown since I received the great news at Christmas. It looks like you have grown quite a bit since December -- your mom is beginning to show, but your dad says that those are the snacks that she’s been eating. Your mom did not experience any nausea during this ski trip.
Just wanted to let you know that even though your mom talked about how enjoyable it was to ski again, her main focus during the planning stages and also during the ski trip was making sure we had enough food to eat. With her in charge of the menu, we had enough food to last us for three more days after we departed the mountain.
In regards to your dad, the ski slopes definitely does not intimidate him. If you are anything like him, your mom and dad are going to have their hands full just trying to keep up with you. I’ll just hold up a mirror in front of both of them if I hear them talking about how active and daring you are.
Well, enough for now; I’ll tell you more about your mom and dad as the weeks roll on.
