Buying maternity clothes was:
This consisted of buying one huge pair of pants on sale at Penningtons, and they have served me well so far. It was very weird to one day not fit into my old pants. Usually it happens more gradually lol.

The biggest change in my body has been:
Having to move slowly, even though I am normally big I still never had to move this slowly. I rest more after exertion and feel tender in my pelvis and belly just from walking a little bit.

My favorite change in my body has been:
Feeling my baby kick me, it's wonderful and I still make little exclamations of surprise when he/she gets me good unexpectedly :)

What I never thought would change was:
My nipples--too much information but I thought that nipples were nipples and would do for breastfeeding, but I guess they need to turn into super alien nipples in order to get the job done lol.

At this month's prenatal visit I learned that:
It will be six weeks before I see the doc again due to the holidays. Grr. Also my weight gain last month was only 3.9 pounds. Woo hoo. Pure Caramilk bars!

My hopes:
That my pregnancy continues to progress without complications. That if anything were to happen I would recognize it and get the situation dealt with so that my baby will keep on baking right until 40 weeks.

My fears:
That I wouldn't recognize the need to go to the hospital and that I would lose the baby from being born too early. I know I couldn't deal with that. The heartbeat has been strong and I get kicked a lot now, so I am attached and this baby just has to arrive safely in April!!!
