Baby has arrived!

Pregnancy Reflections

Seventh Month

I've started thinking about the nursery:
Baby will have their own area in our room. We have some pretty plates and an Anne Geddes calendar for their area, we want wooden letters with their name, and they will start out with a bassinet and a crib after :)

  I've been dreaming about you:
I've had a couple of dreams of breastfeeding my little one, but not a lot since then. My sleeps are in two hour increments now so not a lot of dreaming!

I used to love food! Now I avoid:
Ground meats. I don't like ground meat but I like intact meat like chicken breasts and steaks.

I never thought pregnancy would make me:
So tense. My muscles have a hard time relaxing. My shoulders and back and hips and everything get really tense and sore.

  I can't wait to:
Hold my baby! Put sweet clothes on them, wrap him/her in a blanket, and cuddle. Put them to sleep in their little bassinet. Watch them sleep. Give kisses and hugs!!

My prenatal visit this month taught me:
It was a stressful visit at my regular doctor, but much better at the OB-gyn. I have to see a couple of extra people to make sure everything goes well (i.e. a diabetes counselor etc.) I have ultrasounds coming up, so excited!

  My hopes:
Baby is healthy! Baby is born safely, and is happy to be held by mommy and daddy :)

  My fears:
Any complications with the birth. I am scared I won't go to the hospital when I should, i.e. decreased fetal movement etc. I just hope to be aware enough of what's going on to go to the hospital if I need to.
