This is a documentation of my pregnancy from month 5 on... I would have started sooner, but had no access to the internet in storm ravaged Louisiana. I will try to recap everything that has happened up until now.  Please know this is an honest and candid weblog, and I do not intend to offend anyone. Anyway, enjoy my pain and pleasure you sadistic, non-pregnant voyuers (did i spell that right?)!

Update 5/4/06

I hope everyone has been enjoying my journal. I never expected it to be so dramatic, but a lot has happened (and keeps happening) since I became pregnant. I hope all distant family and friends look at this page and know I wish they could be here to experience this crazy ride with me, but in a way, this blog creates a subtle reality for both of us. Thank you for reading! I love you all.

Update 5.30.06

Only 4 weeks to go. People are stopping me at the grocery store asking when I am due, and everyone gives me the same, eyebrows-raised, "oh boy, that's soon" look. Hospital is scheduled to open June 27, That means I have to be 2 days late in order to have a waterbirth.  Cross your fingers and eyes for me!
