We recently had our ultrasound appt where we found out the sex of the baby! It was so much fun, both of our moms were there as well. The ultrasound tech said that he looks healthy and is right on the sizes for his age. We are so much more excited now, it seems a little more real to Cody. We have bought a crib already, it's already all set up in the nursery. It is one of the ones that convert from a crib to a toddler bed to a full size bed. We are still thinking about what colors we want in the nursery, we know it is going to be a sport's theme though! As if you couldn't have guessed that! We have decided that we are going to name him Caiden Clay Caswell! Thank you all again for the thoughts and prayers! Will keep you updated!

10 days and counting!
We went to the doctor on Tuesday June 3rd and got to hear the heart beat again, 144 this time. We talked with our midwife for a while and decided we could get the ultrasound done to find out the sex of the baby on June 16th. So we can't wait for these next 10 days to go by. I've had to break down and buy some maternity pants, I've gotten one shirt because the styles of most of my shirts I previously owned are the same style as maternity. Or will at least work for now! I am looking forward to being the Matron of Honor in Keri's wedding in July, it's going to be HOT but should be a lot of fun! We can't wait to have our showers at the end of this summer and see all of our friends and family again! We really appreciate all of the love and support everyone has shown! Love, the Caswell Family!

Updates... So, we've been to our next doctors appt, got to hear the heartbeat for the first time, which was so amazing! It was 158 bpm, which is pretty high I hear. Now that we are into the second trimester, I am feeling much better! No more morning sickness, fatigue, or any of that other fun stuff! Besides this cold I have aquired, everything is going great! We bought a feeding table, which we've come to discover is way safer than the high chairs that can tip over very easily. We have been doing some shopping around for cribs, car seats, and strollers, SO MUCH TO LOOK AT! We really like the cribs that convert into a full size bed! We will find out the appt after this next one what we are having! We will keep you updated!

Guessing games Cody and I have been going back and forth debating whether we are having a boy or girl. We are trying hard not to fall into the old wives tales and believe everything we hear. We don't care either way what we are having as long as the baby is healthy, but it is fun and gives us something to do until we find out in a couple of months what we really are having! We have names picked out that we like for both sexes, and we can't wait to start to register for baby stuff! How much fun will that be! We have looked at nursery ideas but don't want to start on anything until we know for sure what we are having! What an exciting time in our lives, we have been so blessed and want to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and support!
