Hypertension Well went to the doctor this afternoon... I had gained 8 lbs, my top blood pressure number had jumped up by 28 and my feet were swollen as usual. Doctor took one look at me, and said we need to get this kiddo out of you quick.
So I am scheduled to go to the hospital Monday around 5:30, where they are going to induce me.... and then Tuesday morning they will give me some pitocin, unless of course he decides to come on his own over the weekend. Which I doubt it, I am still at 1 cm and 30% effaced! She actually told me NOT to go back to work, and to let them know I was starting my maternity leave. But cant really tell anyone until tuesday, with it being a holiday weekend.
Works out pretty good actually, as my family was planning on coming up this weekend anyway. Nice to know I have a definite end in site, so can get all these little things taken care of beforehand.... Although I have a feeling once the family gets here, that they are going to make me lay in bed all day! Mainly need to go get my car washed, pick up my prenatal vitamin refill... and was considering a pedicure.
I feel very organized and ready in that regard, but am very nervous about how I will handle everything emotionally. My whole life is about to change forever in just a few days!!!

Countdown Well 6 days left.... No contractions, cramping, etc. Everytime I think Im having a contraction or even just a cramp, I realize that its just him moving about wildly! He's getting so big in there, it hurts when he moves! Sometimes I think he just yanks on the umbilical cord to make my bellybutton hurt!!! Still have the movement that causes what looks like an alien trying to come out of my stomach! Fun to sit and watch.
Every morning I wake up all excited, thinking DID IT HAPPEN, Did I go into labor? And then Im disappointed to find Im still pregnant. hahaha, as though I would miss my own delivery!
Well my family is all coming up this weekend. Dad is bringing my Mom and the Preacher's wife to come stay with me until I have baby roo. I think Amanda is planning to come as well, to spend her memorial day weekend here, just in case!
So I forgot to mention... one of my dreams recently... turns out that Matthew McConaughey was the father of my little boy. He was really great about it. He wanted to be involved in both of our lives. Talk about a wonderful dream!!! haha
