I just wanted to let you know, with my 1st pregnancy I wore my belly ring almost the whole time.  I did take it out every couple of days to make sure everything was nice and clean.  I also took it out before delivery.  It did stretch a bit, but after awhile it did go back down.  I am currently pregnant with my 2nd baby and plan on doing the same.  If you're really concerned they do have belly rings made for the pregnant woman.  I can't remember the website, but if you google it I'm sure you'd be able to find out a lot of information.  Hope this helps.  Best wishes with your pregnancy.

I hate to tell you this but I didnt take my belly ring out for a while and pretty soon it got to the point where i coudnt tell what was going on with it, so I left it in and it stretched out SOOO much..I didnt even realize what was happening I have taken a picture to show you.. hopefully it shws up..Im not saying this will happen to you but its a possibiblity so I seriously think you should take it out because i hate looking at my belly now because of it..Of course my belly button was pierced twice so I have three holes so it was twice the damage.. I know this takes up alot of space and I couldnt get the pic to go any smaller so u can delete it whenever u see it if u want

Amber,

I'm 21 weeks pregnant and I still have my navel ring in. My mother is also concerned about mine but a friend of might told me that I could keep it in for quite some time. It won't hurt the baby but after a while as your belly gets bigger, eventually the hole will start to stretch out and probably won't go back. Also even if you keep it in until labor, the doctors will take it out. Don't worry if you've had it pierced for at least a year, it shouldn't close up while it's out. I'm afraid I might have to take mine out in a few weeks, my belly button is starting to push out. I'm trying to prolong the obvious as long as possible. Good luck to you!

One thing we want you to remember, Roo
Is that, no matter the distance,
We're here for you!
The little soul inside of you now
Is so precious and sweet
Sweeter than your little bow-wow!

We love you so much!

Welcome to the babycrowd!  I just love this site.  It really helps to read what everyone else is going through.  As far as good veggies.... try carrot sticks dipped in ranch if you like ranch... or any veggie dipped in ranch is pretty good!  I try to eat an apple each day.. Fuji is a really good brand of apples.  They have fiber (which you will need, trust me) and lots of other good vitamins.  When I was at week 9 I found that those low fat animal crackers were good to snack on through out the day.  If you allow yourself to get hungry the nausea will only get worse.  I am here if you need anything!

Hi Amber!  Congrats on your pregnancy!

Hmmm, veges hey!  I'm not a big vege eater either!  Have you tried eating them with something like a cheese sause or gravy?

As for fruit, I love most fruit but I get tired of eating it by itself.  I make a fruit salad and then mix it with vanilla yoghurt!  Yummo!

Anway, thats my suggestions for you!
