Pink Briefs OK, this has got to be up there as the most ridiculous thought Ive had since becoming pregnant....
When I bought my huge granny panties, one package was pink and red colored panties. Now I dont know where this thought came from or how it even came to exist but, I begain to think about what if HE decides to pop out the day I have on pink panties. Will his first stimuli in life be pink panties??? Will that make him effeminate?
I know, completely out there on that one... it even makes me laugh!

Jolting Stomach Tonight I was taking my bath, leaning back reading... and I felt some really strong movement. I looked down, and my whole stomach looked like it was having convulsions or something. There would be a sudden jolt on one side, followed by a poke on the other side. It was making me laugh watching my stomach move so much and to feel him in there kicking and punching and whatever else all he was doing! Unfortunately, I can ever determine if its a foot, elbow, shoulder, etc... wish I could feel whats what!
Went home and finally saw my Mom after her second surgery. She looked really good I thought, has even lost some weight. She coughs a lot still, but she thinks its from her blood pressure medication more so than the surgery. She will go to see her Sarcoma Doctor here in a couple of weeks, and then have a chest x-ray and see the surgeon again, so we will find out how she is doing, and the next course of action, hopefully no action will be required!
The house they have moved into is huge. 4000 sq ft! It wont feel crowded at all! I think most of the baby's things will fit in my room its so big!
Not much else going on, just been exchanging things to try to get more of the things I registered for... thats keeping me really busy! Took my glucose tolerance test last week, came back negative so dont have to worry about gestational diabetes.

Granny Panties Well I said goodbye to my victoria's secret bikinis, and hello to a 6-pk, size 9, hanes her way, low-rise briefs (although I did get a pkg of hi-cut briefs for a little variety, but have decided the briefs are actually more comfortable). Wasnt really sure what size to get, and the 9 is fortunately a little big... but Im sure Ill grow into them before its all said and done! I do have to admit they are really comfortable. But I havent worn this style of panties since grade school, maybe even junior high.... hmmm, maybe I should have stuck with them and I wouldnt have found myself in this situation?
Im about to go insane trying to find a bra that fits. Depending on the style/brand, I would say Im somewhere between a 38C, 38D, 40C or 40D. Like tonight, I tried on a 38DD, well the cups were too big, as I knew they would be, but the 38 felt really tight around and I was on the last hook. But yet, the 40C I already bought, is a little too big around. I dont know what Im supposed to be wearing. The lady in the dressing room at target suggested the camisole/sports bra style for now.
Regardless, its always amazing to look at these bras or panties and think they are huge, only to find they fit!!! When I was checking out, the lady asked how I was doing, and I said, well... IM just having a blast buying size 9 panties. Well she acted all excited for me and asked, "OH, have you been on a diet" Uh, hello!?!?!?!
My mom is still in the hospital. Her chest is still draining quite a bit, but she was supposed to come off the catheter and epidural today, so thats a little progress. But we knew this was going to be the tough surgery when she went in for it. Dont like the feeling of not being able to do anything, and the fact that I live 180 miles away. I feel very disconnected from the whole thing. But I dont think I will be able to go home until next weekend.

Cutting Toenails Is there a position a pregnant woman can assume to cut her toenails comfortably??? Because Im having a hard time, and have a feeling its just going to get worse!!! You might say, just go on and get a pedicure, which I most likely will do. But the fact remains that the nail places will NOT cut my toenails as short as I like. I hate for any white to even show on the ends of my toenails... lets just say I cut them to the quick, usually make at least one bleed in my effort to get them short enough.
Let me just go ahead and get on my soapbox here... if your toenails are long enough to do a french manicure, they are entirely way too long. Im surprised you havent slashed your or your husbands legs during the middle of the night by your nasty long toenails. And a little tip for those of you with finger-like toes... leaving long toenails just lengthens the length of your obscene toes. Think of it this way... what do women do to make their legs look longer? They wear heels. My question is, who on God's green earth thinks they need to make their toes look longer? Long fingers are attractive, not long toes... you want a smaller, more feminine foot. Remember the Asian women that used to bind their feet, they knew men preferred small feet. Just my advice from me to you, for impending sandal/flip-flop season. Keep 'em short ladies.
Ok my stomach changes shapes on me. For instance, when I lean over it comes to a sharp point rather than remaining rounded. When Im laying on my back, and go to pull myself up, my belly button starts to pop out. Strange I tell you.
