Pregnancy Journal

Benjamin has arrived!  He was born Thursday July 17th at 5:53pm at 4 pounds 11 ounces and 16 inches long.  He is a little early so he is still in intensive care at Beth Israel until he gains some more weight and can learn how to eat better on his own.  I went to my regular checkup on Thursday and my blood pressure was high so I was admitted to the hospital.  They weren't able to get my pressure down so the only remedy left to keep us both safe was to deliver Benjamin.  Eric and I are so happy that we are both healthy and we are anxious to bring him home.  Thank you to all the support from our our friends and family.  We will keep you posted on when he will be leaving the hospital!

First of all Eric and I want to thank everyone for all the wonderful gifts we have received.  We have everything we need and we owe that to the overwhelming generosity of all our family and friends.

My Mother and Sister were here before the baby shower and you should definitely check out a few pictures I posted in the photo album of the finished product!  It is absolutely beautiful and we are so grateful for their hard work. 

I am feeling good and at the last appointment the baby was 4 lbs 10 oz.  I am feeling a little tired and my feet are pretty much swollen all the time, so I have been putting them up as soon as I get home! 

We can't believe how fast the due date is approaching and we are both anticipating meeting our child.
