We had a sonogram this morning and Dad got to see his baby for the first time!  It was wonderful to see his reaction and a beautiful moment for us as expectant parents.  The Doctor said everything looks great and although we don't want to know the baby's sex she said she could definitely tell.  I have to admit we were a little tempted but we stuck with our wish to wait until the baby is born! 

I am feeling pretty swollen these days and the last two my ankles are pretty big.  Other than that I feel great and I am feeling the baby kick more and more often.  I added several pics from the sonogram so make sure and check out the photo album!  She gave us a bonus 3D picture but the baby was moving so much that the picture is a little distorted.

We have been approved by the coop board for our apartment!  Now we can officially be excited and prepare to make the move to our new home.  I have so many ideas on how to decorate the baby's room and I can't wait to get started!

I am feeling the baby move more often and it is so exciting!  Feeling very blessed for all the wonderful things happening in our lives.

I am feeling the baby move more frequently now and I have to say that it is one of the best aspects of being pregnant.  Every time I feel the little flutter my heart leaps and I imagine what the baby looks like or what it is feeling at that moment.  So exciting!  I am happy to report that I am still feeling great.  We have decided to wait until the baby is born to find out the sex, so we are going to have to be careful at the next sonogram!

We have our interview with the coop board this Thursday so hopefully we will know very soon about whether we are getting our apartment.  I will keep everyone posted!

So far I am feeling great and "knock on wood" no nausea yet!  I just had an appointment on Friday, the 7th and my Doctor says to keep doing what I am doing so I guess I will keep drinking and not worry about the drugs...  Hah!  Just kidding Mom!  I gained 1.5 pounds and my Doctor said it is 1 to 2 pounds per visit so I am right on track.  She listened to the heartbeat and made another comment about having a hard time getting the baby to be still long enough to hear anything.  My first ultrasound the technician also said that I have a very "active" baby.  It looks like he or she will be taking after their father!  My in laws laugh and say it is payback!  We do hope the baby doesn't take after our sleeping patterns because neither of us were good nappers.  I guess we will just have to wait and see!
