Well Tuesday I went to school and before class started I went to the bathroom and had some light spotting.  I totally freaked out and called Bill crying, he didn't know what to say or do, so he told me to call my mom.  As always she calmed me down.  I had a field trip with my students that day, so I did not want to go home, I called my doctor and they got me in yesterday.

I had my first ultrasound done, we did not see much, but the doctor warned us that we wouldn't.  She said it was to early to see a heartbeat, but we did see a yolk sak, and I guess they worry about eptopic pregnancies and so she confirmed that I do have "a pregnancy in my uterus."  Which I thought sounded a little funny, but as of now everything looks good.  Bill did not do so well.  He was dizzy and nauseous right away...he is never going to make it.  They did some blood work to test my hCG levels.  They were at 30,036, which I guess is good.  I have to go to the hospital tomorrow and have my blood drawn again to see if they are increasing like they are supposed to. 

I have been praying a lot, and I know that God will do what is right for our family!

I can't help but be nervous.  I do not see the doctor until June 9, which seems so far away.  I have now taken four pregnancy tests just to make sure I am still pregnant.  I have always been a worrier and I guess I can't expect all that to change now.  All I can do is hope and pray that everything goes well.  I would love your prayers also. 

I have been feeling something in my belly.  It is really weird, it is just an annoying pulling kind of feeling.  I was really nervous about that too, but I just read in my What to Expect When Your Expecting book that you can feel the ligaments around your uterus stretching so I am feeling a little better about it.  Now on days I don't feel it I worry.  I am just a mess.  Anyway, say a prayer for us....we could really use it!  Thanks

Bill and I are both super excited to be expecting a baby.  We have been married for almost three years and have been getting everything ready for this next step in our lives.  Bill and I both have good jobs, I just finished my masters degree and we really felt ready, or as ready as you can be.  We decided to start "trying" in April and May 1st we found out I was pregnant.  We are so happy that we have such a wonderful family and so many friends that care so much about us!  We can't wait to share this journey with you!
