"First Appointment" Bill and I went to the doctor's for our "first appointment" today, even thought we have been there three times already. We got to hear the baby's heartbeat. It was amazing. Dr. McGrail said that we would see if we could hear it and if not then we would do another ultra-sound. As soon as she put the thing on my belly we heard it. She was surprised that we heard it so fast. It was so amazing. Everything seems to be going well and I have another appointment next month. I have been getting sick a little more often, but I don't really mind, I feel like everything is going how it should be, which is ok with me!

Another Scare Well just when I was really thinking things were great, I had another scare. I was at work today when I went to the bathroom and had some bleeding. Julie, the woman I teach first grade with was awesome. She took my class into her room and told me to go. I called the doctor and they told me to come in right away. I tried to get ahold of Bill but he was not answering his phone, so I called my mom sobbing and asked her to meet me at the doctor's office. She told me to just relax and say a prayer and I cried and prayed the whole way to the doctors. We got there and she sat with me for a while until Bill came. We had to wait for a long time. They did another ultra sound and said that everything looks good. The baby was so much bigger than last time. It is amazing the growth in nine days. You can tell the head and the body. And we could see the heartbeat again. Dr. McGrail said the baby has a strong heartbeat. I am feeling better now. I told Bill I don't think I am very good at being pregnant. He is wonderful and told me all my worrying is going to make me a great mom. He is the best!

Feeling good I felt great all weekend, then back to work on Tuesday and feeling sick again, I have come to the conclusion that it is work that is making me sick not the pregnancy. Just kidding. Feeling great again today!

Relax
I went back to the hospital yesterday to have my blood drawn again. I have been going early in the morning before work so I don't have to take any more day's off. When I got to work I had a message from the doctor's office wanting to schedule an appointment. I got really nervous because I assumed they got my results back and it was not good. When I called their computers were down and she could not tell me much. I left a message for the nurse. When she finally called back she did not have my results back yet, but said Dr. McGrail wanted to see me and discuss my low hCG levels from Friday's blood test. I made my appointment. About an hour later the nurse called with the blood test results and my hCG levels were at 62, 605, which is good.
I went in today for the appointment anyway and we got to see the heart beat!!! I was laying there and the doctor said "ok see that little flicker" Bill said yes right away, but I didn't see it. I said "wait, wait, where I don't see it" She froze the image and showed me were the baby was and then turned it back on and I could see the little flicker like a little strobe light! We are so excited! It makes it all so real now!
