Ok, um sorry it's taken me so long to get some new photos up...but I had a transfer cable crisis which was, unfortunately, only temporarily diverted.  We bought a new one and I some how managed to get my camera chip lodged in the new one after having it for a total of 5 seconds.  Anyway, as you can see I have really chubbed out in the past few weeks and I can't believe I still have 3 months to go.  K. thats it for now. 

My first shower is this weekend so I'll post pics again after that. 

I have about 3 days left until I enter the THIRD trimester.  It feels like I've been pregnant always now.  I don't wake up and feel surprised to find a huge belly under my covers anymore.  She moves like crazy and I've loved the attention from other women.  Waylon and I were trying to figure out what the fascination is about pregnant women to other women. I think I can some what answer this question.  The older women that have had children are reminded of that special time when their own children dwelled within them, younger women who haven't had children yet are curious about what's happening to you to prepare themselves for that time in their own lives.  I've been taking aerobics classes for almost three years now, many of these classes with the same people yet we've never talked or gotten to know each other.  Now that I am undeniably pregnant to the naked eye these familiar faces find me more approachable I guess because everyone talks to me.  I won't lie...I really like it.  I wish I could figure out a way to be this approachable postpartum.  I have my 6th prenatal appointment next Friday (I'll be 28 weeks) and from then on will go every two weeks.  My first baby shower is that weekend which I am super nervous about because I hate people watching me open presents.  For those of you not invited to that shower do not fret...you will be invited to the "young friend" shower in August. 

I seriously need that camera thingy..I think I've been talking about getting for 3 months now. This weekend FOR SURE!

I had another amazing baby dream last night.  I mean A MA ZING.  Althought everyone I've shared it with so far thinks it's weird, sick and disturbing.  In this dream my baby  was kicking and I grabbed her foot when she kicked....like I was pinching a part of my belly that contained her foot.  Somehow and in some miraculous way she pushed her foot through my belly (there was no blood and it really wasn't gross).  then she pushed the other foot through and I immediately nudged Waylon to show him.  He said "WHOA" are those her feet? Then we started kissing and tickling her toes and soles of her feet. She would then pull them back in for a second but then stick them back out so we could kiss them some more...it was like a little game.  I know it sounds strange but it was so real and I felt like I bonded with her in my sleep last night. 

I told my husband about this dream the next day he made the most repulsed face ever during the recap.  He then said "I am sure that was a really cool dream but all I can think of is that scene in Total Recall when that guy reveals the scary alien mutant in his abdomen".  So he didn't get it.

Anyway thats about it...other than my belly button looks like it's going to herniate any day now....oh and I have a linea negra and some pregnancy rhinitis.  peace out.

I just had my 24 week visit with the OB.  Baby girls heart rate was 150, I've gained another 3.5 lbs (in a month) and I am measuring exactly 24 cm in fundal height. My  next appointment is in a month and then after that I start going every 2 weeks!  I feel good but it's time for some bigger maternity jeans...I like to call the baby "little chubby chubby heff heff" these days.  Waylon likes it and he's been calling the baby that a lot too... and the dogs come to think of it.   We got all of our nursery furniture yesterday and the painting is finished (all thanks to daddy).  I have some of the baby bedding but the rest of the decorating is going to have wait until after my showers...but it looks cute as is.
