I am now 34 weeks pregnant.

Pregnancy Reflections

Eighth Month

  My pregnancy classes are:
Super! We've only gone to one so far but I believe it will well prepare me for what is near to come.

In the classes, I've learned how to:
do Bradley breathing and we also learned some relaxation tips

What I've bought for you so far:
Um...well fortunately a lot of other people bought you most everything you need but I did just buy some curtains, a swing, a rug, and a stroller/car seat. this was all in the last week and there is more to come.

What other people have bought for you:
Grammy bought a crib, Mimi bought you a dressor, daddy bought you a changing table, and lets see we got diaper bags, onsies, diapers, diaper geenie, art work, books, changing pads, sheets, towels, a bath tub, organizers...shall I go on. The point is our friends and family are amazing and generous and without them we would be broke :)

The strangest food craving I've had during this pregnancy is:
lately it's chocolate which isn't all that strange. I crave eggs and orange juice. Oh and I crave water late at night. I like to wait until daddy and I are cozied up in bed and then say in my sweetest voice "Hoonie, will you get me some water" to which he replies "Why didn't you get some when you were in the kitchen two seconds ago" to which I reply "cause I like it better when you make it" to which he replies "why didn't you ask for it when I was in the kitchen two seconds ago" to which I reply (I simply bat my eyes and stick out my lower lip) works every time :)

The strangest piece of advice I've gotten since this pregnancy started is:
I haven't gotten any "strange" advice yet. Well, that one waitress telling me to chug dr. pepper to give her the hiccups was a little wierd.

At my prenatal visit, I learned:
that I am gaining weight like a champ and I am measuring about a week later than my gestational age....meaning you MIGHT be coming a few days before your due date.

  My hopes:
To be one of those people that perceives labor as pressure not pain...and to not feel nauseated during my contractions. To deliver a baby without unnecessary interventions. And of course for a healthy, happy baby girl.

  My fears:
I am working through those on my own :)
