Baby classes Yesterday Rajan and I went for our first baby lesson. We signed up for this childbirth education course conducted by the hospital. It's 2 hrs long at AMK hub and there's a total of 6 lessons. There were so many couples yesterday and some tummies were really huge! I'm quite scared of the very huge tummies actually... dunno why... Anyway, we started with some funny antenatal exercises. So funny and silly, esp when u see other pp doing it.. hahahh.. during the short break, guess what's the refreshment.... Mamil Mama milk! Maybe the sponsors are Mamil milk and Avent coz they only promote these 2 brands. So we learned about breastfeeding and nutrition for b4 and after delivery. And the lady instructor said during confinement period, we can bathe k coz have to keep clean and hygienic, esp with the stitches down there... ooucchh... after class, we went grocery shopping and bought stuff for dinner. Of course, my darling's the chef... I cant cook man... hahha we had sushi, streaky bacon, quail eggs and portobello mushroom soup. Yum yum!!!

Baby Loves.... Baby loves daddy.... when daddy's around, she feels safe so she doesnt move as much. hahaha maybe she finds daddy's presence and voice comforting. Whenever daddy's out of town, she moves around so so much! Like she's trying to say something, her way of expression. Like right now, she's moving, squirming, dancing... daddy's in frankfurt, but coming home soon... yea! =) Baby loves milk... green tea ice-cream... chestnut apples & bananas... berry yoghurt... thai food... coz these foods are what I've been eating recently. Baby loves to sleep, coz I've been sleeping alot lately. She loves batman coz when we watched Batman, Batman Begins & The Dark Knight, she was moving so much inside I felt a little ticklish and sometimes I just smile to myself or I take Rajan's hand and put it on my tummy. hahaha... such a nice experience... Baby doesn't really like the camera coz whenever she's moving, I try to capture it on video but she'll just not move anymore.. it's like she knows we're recording and she just stays still... smart baby... =)
Last Friday, we saw this white baby cot and if we can't find a prettier one, we take that. haha I've ady bought this fairies print quilt & pillow covers. Was so cute and on sale... and we bought feeding bottles, blanket, mittens & booties, changing mat,..... adding baby essentials slowly... woohoo...

Hyper Baby! Baby has been so active recently! She's always on the move inside. hahah.. it's amazing to see and feel her moving inside. I wonder what kind of movements she's making inside that's causing my tummy to physically move as well... sometimes a jut here, sometimes wave-like motion, sometimes just throbbing... hahaha I think she's having fun in her own private pool!!! All the somersaults, acrobatic water acts, synchronised diving...... =) I'm still having jetlag, so my body clock is all crazy now. Sometimes I cant sleep coz the doctor said to sleep on my side and it's difficult to find a really comfortable position, esp. when I like sleeping face-up. Oh well.... and sometimes baby moves so much that I cant sleep coz it can be quite ticklish also. hahaha!

The Big Apple We just got back from New York and Frankfurt. We went to Liberty Island, and on the way back while waiting for the ferry, it started to rain so heavily so suddenly. haha the weather's crazy in New York, dunno how many times we got wet in Times Square... On the last day, we went to the Empire State Building early in the morning and the queue was super long even though it was a monday. The view was fantastic, we went all the way to the 102nd observatory level. Then we took a nice walk at Central Park and went to The Plaza (I only knew it as the Home Alone 2 hotel... ) It was a wonderful trip, although was hot and tiring due to the very different time zones. My body clock's gone mad for a few days. Hahaha, but Baby was having a good time coz she was moving and kicking around so much so often, sometimes it's hilarious coz it feels ticklish. hahah... I eat whatever I feel like eating and most often have to end my meals with sthg sweet. Maybe Baby is a dessert person... cute.... =) We bought really cute baby clothes for her, and can't wait to see her in them! My skin's getting really dry due to all the stretching and hormonal change, and my tummy's getting bigger and heavier. I have to keep my legs elevated to prevent any numbness, esp when I sleep. But everything's going well and we're all happy. =)
