Ok, I haven't written about this class yet, but now is the time, sicne I realized I am never coming to terms with how that HUGE head fits through such a tiny opening. That being said, anyone else ever been to a class like that before? I truely thought it was going to be a place where all these pregnant couples get together and talk honestly about their pregnancies. NOPE!! I was one of the few moms-to-be who said, "The pregnancy is going well, BUT...my feet hurt, my back hurts, and the whole thing kinda freaks me out!" Maybe no one else was feeling like I was. Anyway, the class was very informative and educational. I wish Zavh and I had the chance to take the longer version, but our lives are too busy right now. After the class, I did feel more comfortable about the whole thing, unfortunately, my back hurt really bad that day from sitting that long.
Zach and I are extremely excited to meet our baby, we talk about it all the time. We wonder what it will look like, boy or girl, hair color, will it even have hair? Who he/she will look like the most? I can't believe it has already been 33 weeks!!

December 27th number five!!
Ok, I just had my fifth OB appointment on December 27th, which went very well. One thing I forgot about from before was I got the stomach flu over Thanksgiving and AGAIN on December 26th. What's the deal!?!? The baby moves all day long when I have my head in a bucket, but the doctor says it's a good thing, of course, cause we know the baby is active.
At the appointment, she also said I might start feeling contractions. Oh my gosh, this early, hope they don't hurt. Everything is measuring perfectly and the baby's heart beat was 149. Since all this started, the baby has consistantly been between 140 and 150, but usually in the mid 140 range (for those of you who know the wives' tales).
In the begining of January, we are attending a birth class. All day on a Saturday for what they call the Express Class. Should be very interesting. Zach and I decided we are going to build a crib with a some help from family (thank you)!! We are going to look at wood tomorrow and are excited to get started on the process, even though Zach will be doing most of the work. We also finally sat down and made a list, which could never have been accomplished without Grandma JuJu's and Aunt Booger's help.
I have been keeping track of my weight (yes, my weight) and my stomach growth from the begining. I think the last time I wrote about it was a couple months ago and I was around 38 inches. Well friends, I am now a whopping 41 and 3/4 inches. I also wiehg too much to tell!! But everyone is healthy and happy.
I finally had to drink the "grose stuff" to check fro gestational diabetes, which I am happy to say I don't have. I also didn't think that carbonated concoction was so bad, it tasted like orange pop, but with more fiz. I'd drink it again for fun!! Anyway, I better go, I have to make egg rolls for a dinner tonight. By the way, Christmas went really good and Chapstick loved all of his/her presents!!
Talk to you after my next appointment - January 17th!!
Happy Holidays!!

4th OB November 30
It's been a long time since I have written, but there isn't too much more to report. November 30th marked the fourth OB appointment, just another one in the series until birth. Everything went very well and baby is moving and growing as expected.
I have started to lose my cravings for certain foods. Don't get me wrong, I still love food, but I don't have any specific cravings. Since last time I wrote, we have gotten a lot of things for the baby, but the nursery is still not ready. I have also started to "nest". I'm not in full force yet, but a couple times a week I start organizational projects that I'm srue Zach loves watching me do.
We are both getting very excited to find out what the baby is. We finally decided FOR SUR (maybe) on two names, but we're not broadcasting unless you ask. I was sitting in my deer stand in November and had a revelation about the names. Oh, by the way, Zach and I both shot deer this season, his with a bow and mine with a rifle. His deer is going on the wall and mine is going in our stomachs!!
All is well and everyone is healthy. I have to save more for the next entry, which will be in a couple munites!!

November 2 - 3rd OB and 2nd Ultrasound
Friday, November 2, was our second and final ultra sound and also our third OB apppointment. Everything sounds good with the baby, the heart beat is 146 and he/she is growing as expected. And no...we didn't find out what we are having, even though I pleaded with Zach when we were in the room. My waiste measures around 38" now. According to some of the books we have been reading, it should grow at an average rate of 0.4"every week - WOW!!
I can no longer wear my duty belt for work and yesturday I had to upgrade to a size 35!!! I'm getting bigger by the second. I guess I have to make room for "Chapstick". ur next appointment won't be until the begining of December. It will be a regular check-up to make sure the baby and I are doing good.
Zach and I have started to think about the things we are going to need. It is alot of stuff so we'll have to start making a list. At least we have sisters who have kids - they can remind us of all the stuff we will need.
