Thursday! The finish line is finally in sight, it seems. The doctor scheduled me to be induced Thursday morning! I'm excited...the wait it almost over :) They think Keira is going to be a biiiig baby, so we decided not to wait the extra week. I can't wait to see her!
2008-07-22 (38 weeks)
Almost There Not much new to report, just hanging in there and trying to be patient. We've made a couple of hospital runs, but alas, just false alarms. The doctor did say that if Keira hasn't arrived by my next appointment (July 29) we could talk about the possibility of inducing. Sleep is all but impossible for me right now, she's so big and nighttime is when she's most active. Her room is pretty much ready to go, she's received so many thoughtful and useful gifts.
Every day I tell her that it's a great day to be born, but so far she's holding out...

Another Update Down to the last few weeks...I'm trying hard to be patient, but I'm so ready for Keira to be here! Went to the doctor yesterday, they said we're right on track. She's positioned like she should be and they're estimating her birth weight to be 8-9lbs. I know, I know, overachiever. So now we're just waiting...and waiting...and waiting...
