Today's appointment went really well.  Emerald's heartbeat is 140, my tummy is at 30", I gained less than a pound since my last appointment, and my blood pressure is excellent. 

My right ankle is slightly swollen so to be on the safe side, they are having me take some blood & urine tests to make sure I don't have pre-eclampsia.  They don't think I do, but wanted to make sure before I officially transfer to my new doctor. 

On the up side, I got to feel Emerald's little knees.  The ARNP was feeling my tummy to see how she was positioned and she showed us where her knees were.  It was very cool! 

I'll make sure to add an update once my test results are back. 

Yesterday, I had an appointment with my new doctor's office to go over my family's medical history, my OB history, Dan's medical history, etc.  They gave me a book "You & Your Baby" that the hospital where I'll be delivering gives out to moms-to-be for free.  I also got a lot of other free stuff and information.  They're so nice in the new office - it really made me feel at ease and know that I made the right decision in switching offices.

Tomorrow is my very last appointment at the old office.  I'll update the blog with how it goes!
