22wks: One week later... Hi! Well I've only got a few minutes - the parking meter at the library doesn't have much time left and filing our taxes online took awhile ;) So, the baby is still actively moving around at times - usually in the evening and at night when we go to bed. I've read that it'll be a lot more often in a couple of weeks. I'm definitely more tired this past week, very similiar to my first trimester. I can always sleep more it seems, especially since I'm getting up at 5AM when Andrew leaves for work, and sometimes to drive him in so I have the car. AAAHHH! It's going to be a challenge when the baby comes, but we have a "can do" attitude about it. Another funny thing that I've noticed. One of our friends, a guy, says that I don't look much different and if we hadn't told him he wouldn't have guessed I was pregnangt, and not a week later a woman at church told me that I'm probably carrying a large baby because i'm so big. Huh? So, varying points of view. Maybe I'm just right then? Also, when I drive I'm having to put the seat back farther - to be a safe distance from the wheel in case of an accident and not wanting to harm the baby. My legs are barely long enough to reach the pedals! But I'm good... for now. Okay, well got 2 go, but will continue to keep you posted.

21 Weeks: Just started this homepage! Hello friends and family!
We're SO excited to be starting this blog! We don't have internet at home, but I'll do my best to keep it updated on a weekly basis. We'll post some pictures of my growing belly soon, and keep you up to date on all of our changes.
Last night around 10 o'clock I really felt Holly moving around. I was so excited I had Andrew see if he could feel her moving at all. We waited and I suddenly exclaimed, "Did you feel that?" and he could. I love when we can share in the excitement together like that. She's too small right now to really be kicking my belly. I mostly just feel her moving around some. She's only about 7-8 inches, but when she is bigger I'm sure we'll feel her kicking all the time. At our ultrasound a couple of weeks ago she was very active and even went from lying face down to face up in a matter of minutes!
We're also very excited to say that we've started putting together her Nursery. It's just down the hall from our bedroom in our new apartment, but not too far. My parents got us a really nice sleigh style crib and matching changing table. Both in great condition and only a few years old. We also have other little things given to us like a boppy (nursing pillow), a rocking chair, and a bathing tub. Today I took my first trip to go buy Holly something. My mother-in-law, Robin, and I went to a used children's clothing store. They had a great sale on onesies, and I bought a few really cute ones, plus a couple outfits. She'll be born in August, so we're trying to think ahead - like at 3 mos it'll be Autumn. Because I hear she'll grow fast! We also found a great pack-n-play for only $15. I love being thrifty! Well, that's pretty much up to date and we'll keep you posted. Thanks for checking in and seeing how we're doing. Feel free to write us too in the guestbook! We'd love to hear from you and miss you, especially those we haven't seen since the big news. Have a great day!
