You were born on:
May 12th, 2008 at 3:31 p.m.
| |
You weighed:
8lbs 13 oz
| |
And your length was:
20 inches
| |
After much thought, you were named:
Zoe Grace
| |
The first thing I thought when I saw you was:
Thank God you arrived!!
| |
The hardest part of the delivery experience was:
Dad's fainting incident and pushing (you were "sunny side up").
| |
The easiest part of the delivery experience was:
The first six hours were not bad at all in terms of pain.
| |
What surprised me most about the delivery experience was:
Not being able to get my epidural during pushing...that was a REAL bummer!!
| |
This is what happened the day you were born:
See journal entry.
| |
The big world events of the day were:
Sadly, an earthquake in China. At least 68,000 people are killed and thousands injured when a 7.9 magnitude earthquake strikes Sichuan, Gansu, and Yunnan Provinces in western China. Nearly 900 students are killed when Juyuan Middle School in the Sichuan Province collapses. Several other schools collapse, killing about 10,000 students. It is China's worst natural disaster in three decades.
