Baby has arrived!

We Moved

Chris and I found a really nice place that is right on the water.  We can park our boat in our backyard.  It also has a great room for our little guy.  We got all of our stuff in over the weekend, but there are so many boxes to go through and unload - we are going to be working after work for weeks.  We had a ton of help from our families so I didn't have to move a thing, but I was still so exhausted when we were finished.  I guess everything feels different when you're pregnant!  I haven't even really gotten the chance to be excited about the move yet because it happened so fast. Now that we are there and imagining what color his room is going to be and where the crib will go things are starting to seem more real - which is both exciting and scary.

On the down side I finally had to take by belly button ring out and I am pretty bummed.  The top part of the piercing was turning really red and I don't want to risk getting an infection.  It sure does leave an ugly scar, I think that I will repierce it when I return to normal size!!!

Playing Games Already

This little guy is playing games already!  Every time he starts moving around I'll let my husband know and he will put his hand on my stomach, or just watch it, and of course the baby stops moving.  If I give up and don't tell Chris when he's moving (or if Chris isn't around) it will last for a good 5 - 10 minutes of so.  I guess he's got a sense of humor!

23 Weeks and Growing
I went to the doctors on Wednesday (Valentines Day) and got to hear that my baby is doing just fine!  It is always a relief to hear the heart beat and know that he really is growing and doing what he should be doing in there.  I am already starting to get stretch marks!  I can't believe it - I have only gained 4 pounds!  I think that I am in a load of trouble when it comes to stretch marks unless I don't grow to be huge, but who am I kidding.  The baby was flipping around in my stomach today and I actually got to see my stomach start jumping around because of the movement.  I can't wait to show Chris this new development.  He should be pretty excited, especially since he hasn't really felt the baby move yet.  I am still getting morning sickness too - wasn't that supposed to stop like 3 months ago?  I was on medicine for the sickness and decided to stop taking it last week and have thrown up 4 of the last 7 days!   I guess I shouldn't really complain though because it really ends in the morning instead of lasting all day like it used to.  I guess that's all for now :>

22 Weeks - Here We Go
I am finally past the half way mark and officially (kind-of) showing, but it seems like it will be forever before our little boy arrives.  I can definitely feel him moving around every couple of hours which is so exciting, and I even felt him kick my hand two days ago.  Chris has not been lucky enough to feel him move yet, but I hope he will soon.  I have been really emotional for the past week, which is really out of character for me, but I guess it is just those pregnancy hormones in action.  My husband and I had to move into my parents house a couple of months ago for this awesome second grade teaching job I got and it has been great, but I really can't wait to have a place of my own where we can set up a nursery.  I am also feeling pretty weary about the inevitable weight gain - I actually lost 17 pounds in the first four months due to some extreme morning (actually all day) sickness and would like to end the pregnancy at my pre-pregnancy weight.  I was way to sick to work out in the beginning, but I am about to rejoin a gym now that I am starting to feel much better.  I know that I am going to gain weight and get a beautiful belly, but I would like to keep my other muscles as fit as I can through out the pregnancy.  They feel pretty mushy now :>
