37 and 1/2 weeks
I saw this fortune teller on another website and decided to try it out for fun here is what I got:
Madame Zaritska - What she predicts for you-
The day you deliver, outside will be breezy. Your baby will arrive in the early evening.
After a labor lasting approximately 14 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 6 pounds, 8 ounces, and will be 18-1/2 inches long. This child will have dark brown eyes and be completely bald.
But there is more. I sense that you are feeling some stress. This is very normal. However, I would like to suggest that you try some of these methods to pamper yourself a bit.
Time is flying by now! There are only 8 more days of school. My doctor said that he is pretty sure I will make it at least till schools out. I feel pretty relieved, but at the same time a little sad because it means that baby William will not be coming for at least two more weeks! He said that he thinks that my cervix is thinned out, but that it is so high still that he can hardly tell. I asked him how big he thinks William was and he said not too big and not too small. He also says that I am measuring perfectly for how far along I was and then made me an appointment for two weeks from now. I thought that I was supposed to be seen every week now, but Kaiser seems to only do what is truly necessary for pregnancies. I mean I haven't even had an ultrasound since our 20 week one which told us he was a boy. I guess if they are not necessary there is no need to do them, but it is really neat to read about all of the moms who know almost exactly how big their babies are and stuff.
My family and I never thought that I would go to full term, but it seems like William has gotten pretty comfortable! The weird part is that for the most part I am pretty comfortable too. I have the typical pregnancy complaints, but I feel like I am doing really well. Chris and I went to our Lamaze class last week and I was the farthest along, but I looked like I had one of the smallest bellies, and I moved around way faster than the other women who were due in July, August, and even September! I think that the beginning of my pregnancy was so hard that everything feels pretty good now! It also probably helps that I lost 17 pounds in the first five months which has helped me keep the weight gain to a minimum. I have gained 8 pounds from my pre pregnancy weight, but 25 pounds if you include the 17 that I lost.
Chris and I had another great shower last weekend. This one was thrown by my sisters and my mom. The shower was at my house again which was really nice because I only had to bring the gifts upstairs instead of packing them into a car and transporting them. This was an all girl shower -except for Chris and Oskar because they refused to leave. They stayed out of sight though because they went down to the dock and fished all day! We had some games at this shower - the funniest one was a game where they melted chocolate candy bars into baby diapers and you had to guess which was which. It was pretty gross and entertaining at the same time! I had a ton of family and friends there and I just can't believe how blessed Chris and I (and Will) are to have the people we do in our lives! We are really lucky!!!
