Well, I heard back from the Dr. and my next Ultrasound is Saturday April 12, which is great because Brodie can come with me!  I am so excited!

Jo got the second coat of paint in the nursery yesterday and it looks fabulous!  We are hoping to put up the mural this weekend and we also took the dresser to Mom's and she is going to re-finish it for us in the colours of the mural.  It will look great!

Well, I just got back from my Dr. appt for this month.  He said we are all looking great!  Blood Pressure was good, we listened to Peanut's heartbeat again which was at 156 (was 143 on Friday), Peanut must be doing a workout or something in there!  I hope he/she is having fun!

I did the final blood work for the IPS screening and they said so far all of those results look good. 

They are sending me for another ultrasound in about 3-4 weeks, they will call me with that appt.  I hope Brodie can come with me to that!  I also asked him about the 3D ultrasound and he said not to worry about it, it is safe for me and Peanut.  Great news!  Looks like I will keep the appt. fo May 14th!  Yay!

He also measured my belly since it is starting to grow and it was 14"...not sure what that means but we will watch the numbers change each month when I go in!

They weighed me and I only gained a couple of pounds which is great because I am eating like a crazy person!  I may have yelled at the old man driving slow in front of me this morning on my way to McDonald's!  Didn't he know I needed to get there before breakfast was over!?  Gosh!  LOL...I know I am irrational sometimes, but I can't help it!  Just don't mess with my food and no one will get hurt!!!

Other exciting news, Grandma Jo started painting the nursery this morning!  Thanks Grandma Jo!  She did the first coat and tomorrow she is hoping to do the second coat.  Then on Sunday we will put up the mural hopefully!  Then, Brodie can take over with his handiness and build the crib and change table!  Yes, I am very impatient!  LOL!

Howdy!

So, today Mom took me to the Dr. for something totally unrelated to the pregnancy.  While there, the Dr. wanted to check the "fetal heart" ...I was so pumped!

It only took her a second and she found Peanut's heartbeat!  It was at 143 and she said that is great!  I was thrilled!!!  It was nice Grandma Donna got to hear it too!

I have a prenatal appt. on Tuesday, so I am not sure if the Dr. will want to listen again or not, I hope so though!

On another note, I booked a 3D ultrasound today!  I wasn't going to do it because it is so expensive, but then I found out it is only as expensive as you want it to be (lots of different packages), and they have a special right now!  So, May 14th is the 3D Ultrasound...they will be giving me a CD with all of the images so I will be able to put them up on here.  Cool eh!?  We also get a 30 minute DVD of the ultrasound with music in the background...this is so neat!  I can't wait!  She told me to have something cold, sugary or with caffeine to help the baby get active for the ultrasound.  They also have cold water, ginger ale and chocolate bars there if I need them...they are ready for anything I think!

My Boss' sister went to this place for her 3D ultrasound just a couple of weeks ago so I think I am in good hands.  She was thrilled with the results!

Howdy everyone!

I hope you are all doing well!

I got a nasty cold that started last weekend and yesterday afternoon it had be in bed for hours with the worst headache of my life!  I got the headache at about noon and it went away when I woke up this morning!  It was horrible! 

I can't take anything because of the baby, but I am allergic anyway so I just have to suck it up!  It really felt like a bad sinus infection but I am feeling a little bit better today...the headache is calmed down a bit.

We did get some exciting things done this weekend though...we got the basement all cleaned out (so much stuff to go out on dump day and we are taking to Value Village this weekend) so we could take everything from the spare room (room beside ours) and put it in the basement.  We are turning the spare room into the nursery.  My Mom and my Step Mom Jo are going paint probably next week-ish and put up the mural I want...no pics on here of it yet, I want it to be a surprise!  I will post pics when it is all done.  Then Brodie can build the crib and change table...yay!  Things are coming together!  I am hoping to make a quilt to match the mural for the crib and if I feel really ambitious I can make bedding and drapes to match!  I hope I get some energy!  LOL!
