Tuesday and Wednesday morning I felt Peanut kicking more in my belly than before! The kicks used to be very low below my belly. Well, I thought this was great because maybe Brodie will be able to feel Peanut finally, but both days as soon as I got up out of bed, the kicks were back in their usual spot. Then last night watching tv I was sort of on my side and I felt the kicks on the left side of my belly...I was so excited, I whispered for Brodie to come over (I didn't want to scare Peanut away so I whispered...LOL!) and he put his hand on me...there was a little kick and he looked at me and said "Was that one!?" I told him yes then he felt 2 more kicks! He didn't want to take his hand off, but I think Peanut was sleeping cause they ended there.
I am so excited Brodie has now felt the baby so he can be more of a part of the experience that only I have been involved in up to this point...it is so great! Hopefully Peanut keeps up the high kicks!
So, a little while after Bro felt Peanut, I was trying to sit up to go upstairs (for the blueberry Eggo midnight snack) and I had a strange feeling in my belly...I pushed on the right side and it was ROCK hard...I pushed on the left side and it was soft! I am pretty sure that means there was a head or a bum on the right side! I told Bro to push on both sides and he felt it too...it was very cool! A few minutes later, everything was back to normal and Peanut has been sleeping most of the morning.
Well, I wanted to update you all on my exciting night! It was so fun! Tonight is our first prenatal class, wish us luck! We are supposed to take a pillow and blanket, I told Brodie I don't think it is for nap time...breathing techniques maybe? Who knows!!! LOL!
I will update tomorrow after our first class, have a great day everyone!

Just back from Doctor Appointment...
Howdy everyone!
Well, I am just back from my monthly Doctor appointment. He had 2 students in with him today and I felt like I was on House or Grey's Anatomy! My Dr. asked the one guy to give him a brief history on "the patient"...it sounded like this "24 year old married female, 23 weeks 6 days pregnant with first child. Last ultrasound was 3 weeks ago, does not want to know sex of baby. No complications or infections so far, a little concerned about weight gain this month..." blah blah blah you get the drift...it was funny to listen to him tell someone else in 2 mins or less everything you have gone through in the last 6 months! LOL!
So, they said my blood pressure is perfect (fantastic!!!) and the baby is very healthy. He said the ultrasound results showed a perfectly healthy baby and all the fluids looked great. We listened to the heartbeat today, it was at 150 and "has a nice gallop to it"...LOL! I hope I have a baby and not a horse! LOL!
This was the first time I was even remotely nervous about my weight. I gained 6 lbs in the last month, and the nurse gave me a little "Hopefully it slows down, that is a lot for one month"...but the Dr. said he didn't really care about it. He isn't concerned at all, I have gained 15 lbs through the last 6 months and the baby wants me to gain more still...I feel better now! I will just keep eating my salad and whole wheat wraps for lunch and sometimes have a frosty float after :)
Next time I go, I have to get a needle because of my blood type. I have Rh negative blood which may create problems with the baby, but they just have to give me an injection next month of immune globulin and another needle right after delivery. Once I get the needle, everything will be hunky dory!
Yesterday was the first time I really "felt" pregnant other than just getting a big belly and being tired. We went to London for my Grandpa and Keshia's birthday party. After lunch we all walked the 5 minutes to Palasad for some arcade games and pool. We were there for probably an hour or so then Brodie and I went back to get our car. Then we stopped at Future Shop, I would like a camcorder so I was pricing them out. Then when we got home I made dinner so I was on my feet another hour. By the time we were done dinner, I didn't think my feet would ever feel better! They were just a little swollen and my heels were aching so bad! I didn't get up for the rest of the night...they still hurt a bit today. I will survive though, I am not the first pregnant woman with sore feet! LOL!
I am feeling Peanut a lot these days, s/he was VERY busy on Saturday! We took Mom out for Mother's Day breakfast because Kevin was down this weekend. I had french toast, and I think the sugar in the syrup was really getting to Peanut! The whole time we were eating and for the rest of the entire day s/he was moving A LOT!!! Then Sunday morning, I wasn't ready to get out of bed yet, but Peanut just kept kicking my full bladder and I was afraid I was going to have an "accident" in bed! LOL! I keep trying to have Brodie feel the kicks, but no luck so far. Hopefully soon!
Well, I will put new pictures up today or tomorrow so stay tuned! Also, we have our first prenatal class on Thursday night so I will update you all on that on Friday! I have no idea what the classes are all about, but I am super excited! Brodie laid down the ground rules, no volunteering for stuff and no sitting at the front of the room! LOL! I think he is excited for the classes too! LOL!
Well, have a great week everyone!

Update on Life...
Well Hello!
We have been so busy I haven't had a chance to update the blog, but I had 2 people tell me today they are looking for updates (Here you go Melissa and Dad...LOL!)
This weekend was beautiful weather, the sun was shining and we relaxed quite a bit. I spent Saturday with Mom shopping in London. I got the curtains for the nursery (the finishing touch hopefully to be added this week!) which was super exciting! Yesterday I got super upset, it seems my neighbour is declaring war by making her garden BUTT UGLY!!! I was super bummed about that, but Mom is going to help me beautify the gardens this weekend! I need major help NOW!!!
Tomorrow is Mom's birthday (Deb Earls) so everyone send her Birthday wishes!!! We will see you this weekend hopefully Deb! Enjoy your day! Make sure Greg spoils you
Well, in Peanut's world there isn't too much new! I feel Peanut kicking ALL the time pretty much! I find s/he kicks a lot when I am sitting right forward and I was afraid I was squishing him/her but everyone is telling me not to worry, babies are far more durable than we give them credit for...that is true, but I still worry! I am starting to feel Peanut kick when I am laying down which is pretty fun, Brodie still hasn't felt it yet though, he is too slow then he gets impatient. I keep saying the baby is scared of him but he thinks Peanut just knows who is boss. LOL! Whatever helps him sleep at night :) LOL!
I am going to try to take a picture tonight of my belly, it is really growing! I have had a lot of people tell me I am not very big for being this far along, but I am starting to notice things are changing. I have a harder time breathing lying down and it is hard to get up off the floor (I know, you are thinking what am I doing on the floor, but sometimes I have to get under my desk at work to plug a USB into my computer, or on Friday Mel and I sat on the warehouse floor at work to sort an order and I couldn't get back up...).
I am on a mission this week to eat a little healthier too. I had a great lunch today which I will have again tomorrow which was 2 turkey wraps with cheese and mustard on whole wheat tortillas and a salad (with cheese of course!). I also had a banana and peaches and a jos louis...gotta still give Peanut what s/he wants! LOL!
Tomorrow night a whack of us are going to Thai-Foons, I am stoked! I love food and that food is DELICIOUS!! Yay, I can't wait! Brodie will be at home playing his new video game, he won't even know I am not there! LOL!
I hope you all have a great week, I will try to post a picture tonight.
Love and Kisses to all!

Not much new...
Happy Monday, wish it was still the weekend!
This weekend was great! Saturday morning (still early enough that it was going to get much hotter throughout the day) I felt as though I was dying of heat exhaustion! I just kept thinking it isn't that bad...how am I going to make it through to the end of August? Granted it went to about 25 degrees this weekend, but it is going to get hotter than that! I ended up with about 10 mins before my appointment with Keysha so I ran into Thyme, I got a pair of brown capris and a pair of super cute plaid shorts (brown, beige and red)...they are awesome! I lived in the capris all weekend!
Keysha and I had appointments at Fayez on Saturday, she got a manicure and I got a massage. They had a special "table" for me and it was so comfortable! I can't lay on my stomach anymore, it is too uncomfortable. I would have fallen asleep for sure, but the woman wouldn't stop talking! It was ok though...it was still very relaxing.
Yesterday, Melissa and Hailey helped me clean out the gardens to get them ready for this spring/summer. It was great to get that done, but it wore me right out and I think I burned the back of my neck.
I am going to help Mom clean out the gardens at the Girl Guide Camp tonight, that will be fun! I like to get out of the house...it is too nice to be stuck inside right now!
I am trying to go for some walks these days...Mom came to Ingersoll last week and we went for a nice walk uptown and sometimes on break at work us girls go for a little stroll...it is good to get the blood pumping!
I think the only update for Peanut these days, is s/he is stubborn like me! Peanut will kick me for hours sometimes, but as soon as I put my hand on my stomach, s/he stops totally, then about 10 mins later s/he starts up again! I have felt a few kicks from the outside now, but when Brodie goes to feel, no more kicks...He says it is good that the baby knows who is boss...LOL! I am sure when Peanut gets bigger Brodie will be able to feel the karate kid I have inside!
We start prenatal classes on the 8th, we are super excited about that!
A Latino man told us this weekend we are having a girl...he said he can tell because of the shape of my belly. He said that boys put their hands in front of them and face forward so the belly is a little more "triangular"...I am not so sure about that, but he thinks Peanut will be a girl...most people seem to think that except for Brodie and my Dad...they always correct me if I say she, but everyone else corrects me if I say he...I can't win! LOL!
Only other thing I guess is, I have a new pregnancy food! Have you ever tried a Frosty Float from Wendy's? Everyone should try one...make sure it has vanilla ice cream and root beer though! The next best is vanilla ice cream with diet coke, but root beer is much better! Brodie and I drove to Woodstock last night to get one before Big Brother started! LOL! It was sooooooooo good!
Well, I will probably have new pics of the bump to put up tomorrow, stay tuned!
