Have a look in the photo album for week 30 pictures!  I think I grew in the last 2 weeks!  LOL!

2 entries in 1 day! Wow!

I feel 1/2 stupid today, I should have just updated everything at once!  Oh well, now you all get to slack off at work just a little more today!  LOL!

Just back from the Dr. and what a shocker, I gained another 4 lbs!  This is going to be a huge baby I think!  LOL!  When the nurse took my blood pressure she said it was up so the Dr. re-did it and said it was fine, I just must have relaxed a bit.  The baby's heart sounded much faster today but he said it was once again at 150 bmp so that was good...any guesses as to the sex yet?  He also said the baby's head was in the right place (same as last time), which is good for everyone, except my ribs!  LOL!  He said my belly measurement is also right on track.  He said they got back the results from my glucose tests and everything was normal.  Yay!

The only other update I think I forgot about is my belly button.  It is almost no longer an innie!  LOL!  Each day it seems to go further and further out and now I can push it out using my 6 pack abs and it totally grosses Brodie out.  I used to have to use my hand to push it out, but no longer!!!  It is funny, I laugh!

Well, have a super day!

Exhaustion is coming back...

I am so tired today!  I don't feel totally awake as I am writing this, so forgive me if I don't make sense!  LOL!

Friday night Mom and I went shopping!  Yay!  I said to the lady at the maternity store, when I get closer to the end of the pregnancy, is it acceptable if my belly is sort of poking out of the bottom of a swimsuit?  She told me it is pretty much expected.  So, in I went (very brave I might add!) with 1 of every bathing suit they sell!  The first one I tried on, my belly was poking out!  I thought I had at least another month before it would happen, but nope!  LOL!  So, I tried on the last suit in the store and surprisingly it looked good!  It is a blue and white tankini and super cute!  I am not sure I will be entering a swimsuit contest or anything, but it is perfect for the next 2 1/2 months!  I also got a pair of jean shorts, PJ's for the hospital (thanks MOM ), a dress and a black tank top.  It was a successful night!  But, then when I got home Brodie was very frustrated with our phones so he wanted to go to Wal-Mart...I had just finished 3 hours of shopping with Mom but off we went!  We got a new set of cordless phones so now they shouldn't die every 3 hours and we also now have a phone downstairs so I don't have to run upstairs all the time now!  Yay!

Saturday we had a family birthday party for Kevin (my brother), Elspeth (my cousin's better half) and Father's Day (Chuck and Grumps).  We had gourmet burgers and sausages in Mom's backyard!  It was a very nice lunch, then we did gifts and off to East Park for some mini golf!  The place was absolutely packed - the line for the go carts and batting cages was way too long, the driving range was full and so was the water park.  We just did mini golf which was probably enough since it took almost 2 hours to play!  LOL!  I got burned on my shoulders and my chest.  I forgot my sunscreen at home .

Then we went to Shaun & Lindsay's (My brother and sister in law) for a Father's Day BBQ with Greg.  Nate & Karen were also there (came down from Owen Sound) so it was nice to see them!  We had quite the visit and got home about 11:30 absolutely exhausted!

Yesterday, I gave Brodie a Father-to-be gift when we got up, he was so excited about getting his very own weed eater!  Yay!  I was thrilled he was so happy with it!  He played with it in the house until he could clearly tell I was not thrilled about that!  LOL!  Then we met up with Kevin and Ashley and drove to Dad's trailer by Long Point.  He had a nice Father's Day Brunch with them and a great visit!  Kevin had to get on the road for his long drive back to Barrie so we weren't able to stay too long.

Today I have another Dr. appt so I will update after that just a quick one as there probably won't be much new.  Have a great day everyone!

Feet in my ribs!

Sorry it has been a week or so, not much is new these days!

Last night Mom and I went to the Prenatal Fair at the Western Fair Grounds.  Mom is still in shock about all the Pregnant Ladies in the city of London!  It took us about an hour to get through it all but we got a lot of great information!  They had a government booth there so I got all the information about Mat leave and Birth Certificates, etc...there was a St. John's Ambulance booth offering First Aid courses that include infant and child CPR, there were support groups everywhere you looked and a few exercise classes you can do with your baby (Baby and Me Yoga, Mom's and Strollers - that one sounded really cool, Walking groups of Mom's with strollers, etc...).  Babies R Us was there and same with Kingsmills.  They had recipe books for beans (gross) and another for "mocktails".  One booth I liked was all about being a Dad.  I grabbed that stuff for Brodie (he went to prenatal classes so he didn't go to the Fair).  The only complaint I had, was for a room full of experts on pregnant women, they sure as heck didn't think to turn on the AC!  I was roasting!  I finally got to a booth offering drinks so I wanted one so I could try to refresh and to my surprise the orange, mango, banana soy milk was pretty gross!  LOL!  We had fun though!

Yesterday morning was kind of stressful though!  Usually I feel the baby kick all day long when I am at work.  I must be squishing the baby the way I sit because usually s/he is very active!  Yesterday was different though, I didn't feel the baby AT ALL yesterday morning!  From the time I woke up, until the time I called the Dr. at about 11:15.  The nurse Linda told me to either go home and lay in bed for 2 hours or go into see her and she would listen for the heartbeat.  I preferred to go see her so I went in and we heard Peanut's heart.  It was at 141 yesterday and Linda said everything sounded great.  She told me sometimes babies will sleep for upto 12 hours!  Wow!  I hope Peanut sleeps like that after s/he is born!  LOL!  So, that made me feel better, but it was still about 1:30 by the time I felt anything.  It was still a rather uneventful day after that, but there were kicks and pokes here and there.  Last night I got a really good kick right in the rib!

I picture our baby laying back in my belly with his arms up behind his head and his legs sprawled right out (like I sleep when I go away without Brodie).  Only thing is, I think he realizes there is room up in my ribs for him so he shoves his legs right up in there!  LOL!  Monday it took about 3 hours before I could finally get him to move his foot out of there!  Each day now I seem to have this, but there are much worse things in the world!  I like to imagine how the baby might be laying to get feet in my ribs!  It is more fun that way!

Well, we survived the heat last weekend, lets see if we can do it again!  I heard the humidity will have it up about 40 again this weekend.  Fab!  Happy Father's Day to all you Dad's out there!  Brodie will be joining your special club soon :)  I am so excited!

By the way, my next Dr. appt is Monday so I will probably update after that.
