Hey Danielle,
I just recieved your post about naming your son Lucian. When I was pregnant with LJ (my son) and people asked me what I was going to name him, most of them thought the name was different and unique. Allthough I still had some of those people that gave me wierd looks and told me how I was being unChristian. I don't think there is a problem with naming your son Lucian its a beautiful name. Don't change it just because someone else doesn't like it, thats what I learned. It is your choice.

Hi there. Just wanted to say that I love your journal, the way that you write to your baby is so natural and sincere! I'm also due in Feb and really excited, although envious that you already know the gender! Weve been for 3 sonars and still can't see! Baby crosses its legs! I was wondering if this is your first child?

Hello:) I just wanted to let you know that my husband and I just LOVE the name Lucian Maximus! My husband loves old names so I had to tell him right away. I just had a baby this past Feburary and it's definantly different! But good luck with everything:)

Wow - your journal make me shed a tear - it is sooooh exciting that baby Lucian is moving around - I am 11 weeks, and at the scan yesterday our baby was doing aerobics and star jumps - I cant wait till I can feel our baby like you do! I will be trying the "sprite" nearer the time to see what ours thinks!! x

Congrats on finding out you're having a boy!!! We wanted a boy too, but we're having a little girl named Harper. Since she's going to be the only one I'm ever having, I guess we're going to have to adopt a boy for my fiance. How did you decide on the name Lucian? It's definitely a conversation starter; it sounds like he could be a Roman emperor. Well again congratulations on your little boy!

I just stumbled upon your pregnancy journal and wanted to let you know that I really LOVE the name Lucian! It is a great name; very strong.
I also wanted to tell you, that my ob said it's normal for women to start showing any time during the third month and also normal for women to not show til the 8th month. I was "lucky" and stopped being able to fit into my jeans at the end of the second month! I also refuse to wear my maternity clothes unless everything else is in the wash. I wear sweats and jeans that are 2 or 3 sizes too big instead.
Your blog about the weird dreams was comforting to me. I thought I was the only one with truly bizarre pregnancy dreams! I also thought I was the only one with strange food aversions ( I can't go near fried food or chinese food without becoming severely queasy).
Keep posting! I can't wait to see what happens next for you two!
Oh, where do you live that they did the ultrasound @ 8 wks and not another til 20? In my town they seem do one every month and everytime there is a minor problem (yeah, they kinda over-do it). I'm @ 11wks and they've already done 4 ultrasounds on me!
