Around 6 weeks My appetite has decreased tremendously. Although I didn't really have bad morning sickness, there were definitely certain foods that make me feel nauseous. Also I couldn't eat as much anymore because it made me sick. I'm starting to really watch what I eat. Luckily, I haven't been craving REALLY bad food like fast food. I still eat them but in lesser amounts. I have also pumped up my fruit and vegetable intake.

Around 4 weeks I decided to test 2 days later to make sure, of course it was positive again. So I decided to give my medical provider a call. I was scheduled to come in on my 9th week. A bit too long in my opinion but it's understandable. I think they wanted to wait until I miss my period a 2nd month to rule out any mistakes. Well I got sick this week with a bad cold and cough. I tried not to take any meds since I was a bit paranoid but then I had a hard time breathing and it got really bad so I had to call and ask what I could take to relieve my symptoms. I was advised to use pseudoepedrine (regular sudafed), robitussin and a saline nasal spray. They helped and I also put out my humidifier.

3 weeks pregnant - around February 2nd or 3rd Hubby and I have started trying around November/December for a little one but since I was on the pill for awhile, I wanted to give myself around 6 months to try and conceive but I was actually hoping to have a September (2007) baby.
I woke up today and I've missed my period by a few days. Since I was a bit on the irregular side before going on the pill, I thought nothing of it. I actually had an extra pregnancy test lying around and it was due to expire in March so I decided to use it. So I did the routine, peed on the stick and laid it on the floor. After a few minutes, it was noticeable that it had 2 red lines. Oh my! I was in complete shock! My heart was pounding a mile a minute. I was really taken aback because I wasn't really have symptoms or anything. So I breathed deeply and tried to calm down for a bit then I woke up the hubby. He woke up still disoriented and I showed him the test. He has actually never seen one and he was a bit confused as to what he was looking at. When I told him to look at the box, he understood, smiled at me and gave me a big hug. For me, I was a bit scared and happy at the same time. I knew that the hubby was over the moon. From that day on, I knew our lives would never be the same.

Here I am! Hmm.. I was kinda hesitant about starting a pregnancy journal since I already have one of my own but I guess it would be nice to start one as a souvenir and I can put things here that are trivial related to pregnancy. I'd have to try and remember retrospectively about what happened so I can look back and smile.
