Guess everything's "normal" in pregnancy As I've mentioned, I've felt some flutters here and there (I'm assuming from the baby). However, for the past few days, I haven't really felt anything. This made me worry a bit so I decided to do some reading. I really like What to Expect when you're expecting. So far a lot of my worries have been calmed by reading this book. It said that it's perfectly normal before 20 weeks to not feel anything after 1-4 days since the baby's movements are still pretty erratic. They can also be kicking inward and outward. I really can't wait until we see glow worm on Friday again. Hopefully our Level 2 ultrasound will give us good news. People have already told me to tell them as soon as we find out what the sex of the baby is. I think people started a poll already as to when I'm gonna pop out. I really find this all amusing. Great times....
By the way, I gave in. King Crabs were still on sale at Nugget Market so I splurged on another pound. So damn good! I have 2 crab legs left to eat today. Yay!!

Cravings I really want some Alaskan king crabs right now. I bought some last week to try them out and I think I want some more. I'm not sure if I'm gonna buy them though. They're kinda expensive. Here are some of my cravings:
Past:
soups (especially hot and sour soup)
Nacho Supreme from Taco Bell
anything sour
Current:
Philippine mangos
crabs
sweet white corn
anything sour
Cherries! (Haven't had them yet but boy I'll stock up when I do)
At least they're not really that weird.

Little Flutters Well about 3 days ago, I started to feel some "movement" in my abdominal area. I wasn't sure at first but it's happening more often now albeit randomly. I'm honestly a little excited about feeling the baby's movements because it tells me that he/she is there. It also lets me know that everything's okay. I'm sure many of you experience the same paranoia I had in the earlier months in between prenatal appointments. You always want to know if everything's okay even if you're not really feeling any symptoms. Feeling the baby's movements will help me calm down a bit. Anyway, I'm hoping in the coming weeks, I'll be feeling it more distinctly.
Pants are definitely getting tight. I went to Motherhood Maternity yesterday to buy a new bra but I guess I can still use the bras I have now. My cup size is still relatively the same (lucky or weird who knows). I told the sale clerk that I'll come back in a few weeks when I really feel uncomfortable. So far, I just feel a little snugness with the band but it's not too bad. I do wear a sports bra at night when I sleep so that helps a lot. I used to get sore boobs when I wake up before I did that.
Hope you have a great weekend!

AFP Test I got the results in the mail and it's good news! My AFP test is negative which means I have a low risk of having a baby with Down's Syndrome and other genetic abnormalities that they screen. I was a bit nervous about this test so now all we need to do is found out the sex next week. We can't wait!!!
