13 weeks prego
Time is starting to pass by fast!  I'm excited to be starting my second trimester.  Everyone says women generally have more energy during the 2nd trimester so I hope to get a lot done during the next three months before entering the third.

Things I hope to accomplish during the second trimester:

-Find out what we are having!! Boy or Girl
-Buy the baby's crib and furniture for room
-Pick a theme for the room then decorate or paint
-Paint our bathroom SOON!
-Save as much money as we can for bills to be paid while david is in school and I'm off work after we have the baby.
-Have a wonderful anniversary with my hubby next month.  Enjoy some alone time perhaps going on a weekend trip.
-Help my mom plan the baby shower
-Do more things with both of our families.. all of us get together for dinner or something.
-Get the house ORGANIZED as much as possible.  not that it's that bad but I know I will want everything to be perfect for when we bring the baby home.

We are so happy :)  I already worry about the baby..if I'm eating enough or the right things, if it's healthy and growing... etc.  I told david the other night that I just realized that  from NOW on i will NEVER stop worrying about this child.  I'm starting to realize how all mothers must feel.  My mother, David's mother, my mother's mother... how you want the best for your kids and want to protect them.

Well, tomorrow is my day off but I'm going to be doing two house calls (doing haircuts) on two of my elderly customers that can't leave the house.  And after that I'm going to pick up my niece Madison from school and spend the rest of the day with her :)  It will be a good day.

Shopping
It was so nice to get to see all of my cousins the last few days.  I was so worn out from it all though.  We always stay up late playing games or music by the fireplace and then wake up early the next morning to have a big breakfast.  So I didn't get much sleep or a chance to nap.  Today on my lunch break I came home and took a much needed two hour nap.  I'm glad I haven't had any nausea but man, the fatigue is putting a damper on my work.

Yesterday my cousin took me shopping for maternity clothes!!  I've been in that in between stage for the past few weeks but it was just getting uncomfortable leaving my pants unbuttoned all the time.  I had a tube top thing that you wear over your jeans but it was really itchy.  So she took me shopping and I bought 2 pairs of maternity pants that are REALLY cute and COMFORTABLE!   And also some cute tops.  Ross is the place to go.  I paid $14 for cute maternity jeans that were $30 at Motherhood maternity at the mall!  I don't plan on buying anything else at the Motherhood store.  They are too expensive and they tried to pressure me into getting a credit card.  AND their return policy sucks.  Anyway, Ross has great deals if you are on a budget like me.

I am really burned out at work right now.  I am really tired of doing hair.  Tired of standing up.  Tired of demanding people.  I don't think I am going to go back to work after we have the baby.  At least not doing hair.  I'd like to work part-time doing something else.. office work or something.  I've talked to David about it tonight.  He doesn't want me to work either once we have the baby.  We just have to figure out how we are going to budget our money with less income.  I mean, I have a good clientele at my job, and I really like a lot of my customers... i'm just burned out doing hair.  But the money is really good and I know I could not make the same money anywhere else without a degree.  And also, I have so much freedom since I am my own boss that I know I wouldn't like having to work a schedule somewhere else.  I don't know... I have to tell myself to be positive and hang in there because right now I have to work in order to get by until David is finished with school and can work more.

No matter what I know we will be fine though.

Ultrasound and New Due Date
David and I went early this morning to get another ultrasound done and we were so relieved to see our little baby move and kick!  It was the sweetest thing.  The baby's heart rate was going between 167 - 180 bpm.   The picture was so clear this time and the ultrasound tech was SO nice and helpful.  I've come to the conclusion that last weeks ordeal was due to the ultrasound being done on my abdomen and not vaginally due to the fact that my uterus is retroverted, combined with the fact that I was only 8 wks at the time.  And also the Nurse was just hurried and didn't explain anything to me.

But oh well,  our baby's heart is beating and its little footsies are kicking.  I couldn't be happier.  It was such a nice moment to share together with david.. seeing the life we created.  And it turn I thank Jehovah for it as well.
