Pregnancy Journal

24 WEEKS 1 DAY

The Doctor appointment today went very well. I have gained a total of 13 pounds since the beginning of the pregnancy so far. Hopefully not too much more than that!

The baby's heartbeat was very strong and she said all is going well! My next appointment is in 4 weeks and I will have to do the glucose test, yuck! I just need to eat lots of veggies and lean proteins and walk walk walk walk!

23 weeks and 5 days

We have finally moved our bedroom furniture downstairs. Yay!!! Mom's bedroom is now set up for the most part now it is just all the little things that need to get moved.

Maternity clothing is proving to be very difficult and it does not help that we are so limited in Alaska.

The baby is moving all the time now! Jansen still has not been able to feel the baby move and is getting more and more jealous. I keep on telling him soon. Now he is growing out his goutee so he can rub it on the baby, UUHHH it looks so yucky right now but what a cute reason.

So my wonderful godson Jayden is getting so big. The most recent funny thing he did that I have to share is he thinks dog's buts are belly buttons!!! Poor Maria! He has also learned how ot spit.

Wow the baby is over 11 inches long now! I have been feeling pretty good now that I am over that flu and sinus yuckiness. Morning sickness seems to creep back at least one day a week but it is less and less frequent. I had to get my foot xray'd and I have heel spurs and I guess that it is very common to develope foot problems when pregnant due to all the relaxin hormone in your body that causes your muscles to stretch and relax also relaxes your arch which is why a lot of women's feet during or after pregnancy may be a bit bigger than pre-pregnancy. So my arch is flattening and pulling on my heel and bone spurs. So I got some arch support inserts for my shoes and it has already gotten a lot better.

Work has just been crazy! Super stressful right now but should calm down as soon as I get a new person trained and then I can have my normal schedule back. Working late and all different hours is getting old.
