 9 weeks!!!!
I can't believe that it has been 9 weeks already. I had a nice long nap yesterday. The latest thing I am noticing is my lower back is really achy and my hips. I am really looking forward to my massage today! I am also becoming forgetful. Today I forgot my wedding ring. Weird. The weather is really crazy it was super windy last night and this morning it was 44 degrees out. The snow is melting like crazy. We are still waiting for Diablo to have a bowel movement. We were up with him Sunday night apparently he forgot the he needs to chew his 10 inch long rawhide bone! He better go today or it is off to the vet for him and they said it is going to be an x-ray and possible surgery. He is eating but he is not drinking his water. Maybe this is just a cry for attention. =) Tomorrow is the next Dr Appt! I will post right after. Here are a few pictures I am thinking of getting for the nursery. |

8 weeks 6 days!
So pretty much the same as last week but I am having a little more energy finally! I have been able to eat more. We tried to find the babies heartbeat on Saturday with no luck, I think it may be too early. I am really anxious for out Dr Appt on Weds. I wonder what all they are going to do and if they will do an unltrasound and if we can hear the heartbeat. So exciting! Mom sent me some really cute maternity clothes so now just the wait for the infamous belly! |

8 weeks today!
Yesterday was the best day I have had in a very long time. I did not feel sick all day and just a little in the evening. It was wonderful! I am still so tired but besides that great. I think I might break out the heart monitor this weekend and see if we can hear the baby's heartbeat yet. |

7 weeks 6 days
So I am feeling pretty good in the mornings which is nice so I can get ready and head out to work. The afternoons and evenings are still horrible. We had a nice and relaxing weekend. Saturday Jansen worked for a few hours and I did some laundry and cleaned house a little which is the most productive I have been in ages! When Jansen came home we took down the rest of the Christmas tree and then just relaxed and watched movies. Sunday Jansen was having some sort of sympathy pregnancy pains (he says it was from bad orange juice). He slept all afternoon and had a headache and nausea. We did make it to Costco to stock up on apples. Then we hit Motherhood Maternity and I got a belly band to cover the top part of my jeans so I can wear them unbuttoned. Very cool! I saw some cute jeans and things but am going to wait until necessary. I have lost one more pound but it is funny how my hips and abdomen have already changed and I can't button my jeans and be comfortable. I think underwear is going to be next and that should be....interesting. |
