I am now 25 weeks pregnant.

2008-02-04 (10 weeks)

10 weeks 6 days

Everything has been going really well. I am not feeling so sick and just a little tired. I am so glad that this stage is passing! I am reading the best book on pregnancy and breastfeeding I have ever read. It is called "So that's what they're for!" Breastfeeding Basics. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Jansen is even going to read it. Jansen got a new job at Alaska USA Credit Union and starts on the 15th. He is really excited and is so glad he won't have to work outside in the cold. The benefits are so much better so that is a blesssing. I found out today that I hit my 5 year mark this month at DataFlow so I get a $250 bonus and 3 weeks vacation instead of just 2 weeks! Talk about perfect timing. More time off paid when the baby arrives! So Jansen had a dream that he was giving a little girl baby a bath and he was playing with her and she peed on the carpet and he was trying to ask her what her name is so we know what to name the baby. He thinks it is going to be a girl. I think he wants a little girl but he says it doesn't matter. We shall see!!!

2008-02-01 (10 weeks)

10 weeks 3 days

So Josh and Kasia go to the hospitol this morning so we may have a new nephew today! Kasia said she is ready and that she is so uncomfortable now.

Yesterday I felt queasy all day. I did not get my nap the day before and that makes all the difference in the world for some reason. Needless to say when I went home yesterday I read my new Fit Pregnancy magazine in bed and fell asleep all night long! I feel good this morning though so the nap is the key.

So last night while I was sleeping I swear I felt like my stomach was changing. Then this morning it was even harder to zip my jeans and I had to wear this shirt I got a while ago at Nordies that looks like a maternity shirt but isn't and Jansen said this morning that I am starting to look pregnant. I think I may have to break down and go get a pair of those maternity jeans already.

My dreams are getting more and more weird. Last night I dreamt about Grandma Gail. It was such a weird dream. It must be because she is out of town. It never feels quite right when she is out of state.

2008-01-29 (10 weeks)

10 weeks today!
I can't beleive that it has been 10 weeks already. Time seems to move so much faster when it is broken down into weeks. I have been feeling better and the nausea is more off and on and not quite as constant. (Thank you Jesus!) I have some great reading material thanks to Maria and am now reading about breastfeeding. Definately the way we are going to go. On top of all the health benefits we will save over $2000 not having to buy formula! I still have been sleeping so much. I am like a bear in hibernation. The baby is supposed to double in size over the next few weeks!

2008-01-24 (9 weeks)

9 weeks 2 days
The Dr. Appt went very good yesterday. My blood pressure was aweseme 120 over 70! I was a little worred about that. I told her that we are choosing to only do the early screening for baby problems and opt out of the rest. I was able to see the baby and the heart beat and then he/she started moving his/her arms and legs! It was so amazing! Our next appointment is on Valentine's Day. They will do an ultrasound. She said everything I am feeling is normal and the baby is at the exact size he/she should be! Oh, and yes there is only one!!!!!!!!
