Earthquakes and baby Anyone that knows me well knows that earthquakes and I don't get along, basically I am not a fan. I have had a small fear that there might be one while I was pregnant and I was worried what could happen. Well that was put to the test today when my office building started shaking like crazy, I fought the urge to bolt out of the building (really not a smart idea and a long trip) but I did jump up out of my chair. After the shaking stopped I let go of my cubicle walls and had to sit down, the baby was fluttering like crazy, a little jolt of adrenaline for it. I had some small pains which I attribute to my jumping up and quick movements so I figured trying to sit and calm myself would be smart. Eventually the pains went away, I stopped shaking and everything calmed down. We are both a little shaken but ok. Mike tried for a few hours to get ahold of me but couldn't get through and for some reason the thought to call him and let him know we were ok never occured to me. He finally got me and was reassured that I everything was good. So thats the update, the baby had its first earthquake and hopefully no more until the baby is out!

All is good I went to the doctor today and everything went good for the most part. Last week they had trouble finding the heartbeat but today it was right there. The bad news is that my doctor is leaving so I have to find a new one, other than that everything is going good. Oh and I have been feeling the fluttering the past few days two, I think its an active little one.

Week 16 Today we are on week 16, things are going good and I am getting bigger. There are some little stretching and growing pains, it is supposed to triple in size in the next few weeks! After all my morning sickness my appatite has come back and I am having to eat small amounts often. My monthly doctors appointment is also this week so we should be able to get an official update.
