I started thinking I might be pregnant when:
I had these strange "twinges" in my belly! It felt like something/someone was tugging at my bellybutton. Plus, I started to get really tired. I also had a few occasions here at work when certain smells made me suddenly nauseas. Finally, I started craving hotdogs and sushi...two things I cannot have now that I am pregnant!

I found out I was pregnant when I:
Took a digital pregnancy test! And because I'm obsessive/compulsive, I didn't believe the first one, so I took about 15 more just to make sure!

I felt:
Shocked! I cannot believe it happened so quickly and easily for us! We were definitely ready to be parents, but I think we both expected it to take a little longer!

The first person I told was:
Sean, of course! His reaction was a mix of shock and happiness!
|
|
| |
They reacted by:
He looked at me and said, "Is this for real?". HA!

The first ultrasound was:
At my first doctor's appointment on December 10th. It was a transvaginal ultrasound and we got to see our little bean and we also saw the heartbeat!
|
|
| |
At my first prenatal visit I learned that:
Sean is extremely uncomfortable at the ob-gyn's office! HA! I also learned that apparently I am at an increased risk of having a baby with Down's Syndrome. Who knew that 30 was considered "old"?!

My baby will be born:
When he/she is ready to be born! But it's a safe bet that he/she will meet this world sometime around July 30, 2008.

The strangest symptom of pregnancy I had this month was:
Craving sushi and hotdogs!
|
|
| |
My hopes:
I just hope and pray for a healthy baby and a pleasant, stress-free pregnancy.
|
|
| |
My fears:
I worry about the unknown - miscarriage, birth defects, the pain of labor...FINANCES! :O)
