Back from Missouri!
I am officially in my 3rd Trimester!! I am both happy and sad about this fact.
And we are back from Missouri and while Chad didn't get to bag a turkey, we did get thrown a great baby shower by his mom and sister!! It was really nice, with a lady bug cake and all! I am going to scan in pictures as soon as I get more time. There are lots of em!
Unfortunately, I did bring a cold back from Missouri (who gets sick in May, anyway??). It seemed better and then yesterday we had quite the scare when I woke up throwing up and was unable to keep anything down all day. I even had to leave work early! I threw up 7 times just from 6am-3pm. I didn't have a temperature although I felt like poo, BP 135/85 at the hospital (not bad, but not great..worth an honorable mention to the OB). I also had a headache pretty bad so I was a bit worried about preeclampsia. Also started thinking about Listeriosis from that Denny's Turkey Sandwich I had for dinner Sat. night. (See what an RN education does for you, lol?). I feel better today and haven't thrown up since 3pm yesterday but I will be asking my OB about it tomorrow when I go in for my 3 hour glucose, cuz yeah, I failed the one hour.  I am thinking that is just because I ate at around 1:30. My appt last time was 2:30 so maybe that was cutting it too close. This time I'll have to fast for 12 hours, which will turn into 16 by the time it is said and done. We will definitly be going out for a big lunch tomorrow! I really hope I am not diabetic. Not so much because I am scared for the baby....I know it is common and treatable...but it is like a red flag for the future. I have to say though this baby seems really BIG already.  I already feel her kicking sometimes right under my boobs which seems entirely TOO HIGH at this point (28 weeks). My uterus measured a bit large last time so we shall see how things pan out when I go in again on May 15th. Then, after that, every 2 weeks until 36 weeks and then every week until 40! Oh...but I am NOT anemic. So that is good! So..not excuse for the tiredness now, lol
Oh yeah...I am going to try to get in today for another 3D ultrasound. We tried right before going to Missouri but she wouldn't cooperate so I have a rain check. I'll definitly update with pics if we do go! Oh..and I have pics of the nursery. Have to scan those in too!
