Nov. 14th (40 weeks appointment) Ok, yes, so still nothing has changed. Still 1 cm 50% etc etc.. blah.. She had to make sure his head was still down b/c I have this weird soft area below my belly button, but I digress.. My blood pressure was through the roof the first 3 times they took it, so she sent me up to labor and deliver for monitering. She said if they kept me, great, but if not I needed to come back (worked in during her lunch break) on Friday as a follow-up and to schedule an induction. I had to go get labs done for pre-eclampsia and all that fun stuff then sit on a monitor for like 30 minutes. My blood pressure was perfect, if not low, every time they took it. Plus, she informed me that I was contracting every like 2-3 minutes. o.O I told her I couldn't feel anything LoL So, she kinda told me how to check and when I should come in and stuff just in case. But, since I was checked like 45 minutes prior and nothing had changed, she figured they were mild and were doing nothing. SO.. I'm home. Been able to notice some contractions since, but nothing I'm very concerned about. I don't expect to NOT make it to Friday. I'd be surprised if I didn't. But, yes, so still supposed to check urine for like 24 hours before Friday b/c protein was present, so they're still worried about the pre-eclampsia. We'll see *shrug*. Maybe this time the membrane stripping will have done something for once and I'll be in the throws of labor within a few days. I'm doubtful, but I can hope right? LoL
It'd actually kinda suck b/c this is a very busy week for us. Tomorrow we have to call Parris Island for our housing status and see what house we got (yay) LoL And then, gotta take Nani to the vet for her shots. Then, have to fax forms to the kennel place for Nani. On Wednesday we have to pack some and make sure everything's in order for TMO on Thursday. Thursday, of course, is TMO packing day, so that's an all day annoyance. Then, on Friday I have dr. at 11:15 and then Time Warner is coming to pick up cable and internet stuff. Saturday is Dakota's party hardy day and take Nani to kennel day. And on Monday we move out. *sigh...
Ok, I'm done. Brownies are almost ready :o) |
Nov. 7th (39 weeks appointment) I give up on him..
STILL 1cm and 50% effaced. He's even only at -3 station.. (Description of babys' stations: -4 which is just coming into the pelvis to +4 station which is on the perineum or 'crowning' and ready to be born). When the top of the fetal head, arrives at the level of the ischial spines, the baby is said to be at 0 station or "engaged.") Not even really engaged yet.. Still just hanging out up there being selfish..
She stretched cervix and stripped membranes and all that again, but didn't seem too confident that anything would happen. I go back Monday and she said she would try to find a dr. who would agree to induce me earlier than 42 weeks since we have to move so early in Dec. She said she'd be lucky to find one, so we'll see.. Cuz apparently if my body continues to not get any more 'ready' I'm just asking for a c-section.. ~sigh.. such luck. I'm too good at being pregnant. He doesn't want to leave.
Even though my feet look like Frodo's, I'm trying EVERYTHING! >.< I will walk circles around my couch all day long and do yoga during 'rest time' and then walk when John gets home and make him my sperm donor. >.< |
