25 weeks and counting Ok, so I'm feeling pretty wonderful at the moment. Most of my weird symptoms have subsided. I'm much more energetic and more myself instead of feeling constantly 'under-the-weather' and a bit irritable. All of that is gone and I'm feeling great. Sleeping, however, is more of challenge. No more waking up every 30 minutes to pee (thank goodness) but now since my belly is buldging out far more than I ever have imagined, it's hard to get comfortable. Not to mention I'm beginning to be hot most of the time. And when you share a bed with a big dog and a husband who's always cold, this is not a good time.
I'm also beyond frustrated at the clothing issue. Nothing fits!!! >.< All my normal clothes are way too tight or too short or just look horrible on me. Even tee-shirts look a bit stretched and too tight over my tummy. All my maternity clothes are too big. I only have like 2 pairs of pants and maybe 5 shirts that are good right now. Which means I have to wear uncomfortable or ugly clothes when lounging around the house, so I'm guaranteed that my decent-looking clothes will be clean if and when I go anywhere.
So far I've gained 21 lbs and I still have around 15 weeks to go. Not horrible considering I didn't eat for the first 2-3 months and I've been really making up for it in the last couple of months ;-)
John still acts surprised and amazed when he can see or feel the baby move.. Even though I tell him he does it all..day..long.. LoL It's really great that he's so into it, though. And everytime I complain about how I look, he's quick to tell me he loves it.. so he's pretty good to have around :o) I'm one lucky lady, I am.
We STILL cannot THINK of a NAME!!! >.<
I found out my cousin is also pregnant last week. She's still very much at the beginning, but it's cool to have someone to talk to that's going through the stuff I went though (and to be able to warn her about things to come LoL) We were raised like sisters and it's so weird to think our kids will be born within 5 months of each other. |
