Surprise, Surpise!!! Well yesterday October 20, 2005 we had our first ultrasound. I was only 15w1d but because I had been on Clomid the doctor wanted to do an ultrasound just to see how many babies I could possibly have. Well we get in and we were hoping too that they would be able to tell the sex of the baby because it was so early we were not sure they would be able to. She had me get up on the table and lift my shirt, she covered me in jelly and almost the same time that she started looking she said well "there's two..." and the next thing she said was "ok that's all only two" we were shocked that she was even looking for more but no more were found we are blessed with two beautiful babies. Baby A would not cooperate with us and therefore we don't know what it is yet but Baby B spread his legs and showed us what he's got. He is most definatly a BOY. We are now hoping the other is a girl. We called family and friends and told everyone we came in contact with practically. We are both thrilled beyond belief but still in shock over the entire thing of course.

I told the JOB! So we had gone to California for a conference for 8 days. When we got back on Tuesday October 4th I was into my second trimester and decided that it would be ok to break the news to my boss. So Tuesday mornning I was nervous because I didn't know how she was going to react after telling her. I walked into my boss's office and handed her a fax, and said "I've got some exciting news" she asked what and I told her "Tim and I are going to have a baby" she grinned real big, got up gave me a hug and told me congrats and that she had an idea already, but that she happy for us. I realized I had no reason to be nervous.

We heard the heartbeat!
September 23, 2005 at 8:30am Tim and I went to the doctors office for our appointment. The nurse came in with the doppler thingy. She asked us a few questions the only one I remember is "Are you excited to hear the heartbeat for the first time?" Of course we were both grinning from ear to ear. So she put the jelly on the doppler and placed it on my tummy. We all sat just concentrating until finally we heard "thump, thump, thump" It was loud and clear and 174 beats per minute.

Since we found out I am 7 weeks today and since I just started this I guess I'll give some information about the last few weeks. We (Tim and I) found out that we were expecting August 3, 2005 we were leaving town to go on vacation to San Antonio, Texas. We had been trying so I took a test that morning at first urine. And low and behold there were two lines although one was very faint we decided to run by the doctors office on our way out of town so we did and showed them the test and she agreed that it was possitive. They went ahead and drew some blood to test my HCG levels and also a blood pregnancy test. She told me to call back on Friday for the results. So on our way out of town Tim had already called everyone in his family to tell them we now have a bun in the oven. I had to wait to talk to mom before I could call anyone else. So finanlly I called and told mom and she was excited so I called dad and TJ, Aunt Marsha, Katie, and Courtney.
So now everyone knows except my job but I will be telling them the beginning of October, after the first trimester. So my boobs have been incredibly sore and I can't sleep, so I bought a Back n' Belly pillow and it has been a night saver I absolutly love it. I have had some nausea but no vomiting (thank goodness) but even that is starting to fade. I have my first official doctor's appointment September 6, 2005. I'll keep you posted on how that goes.
