Recovering from Surgery Okay so I had the cerclage done on Tuesday and Dr. Parker said that everything went well, aside from getting sick to my stomach during the surgery. I got to see both the babies again that day just to make sure that they were both still moving and doing okay. Hailey was sucking her thumb so it looks like we will have two little thumb suckers coming in the next year. I'm so excited about these little guys, I can hardly stand it. Well I'll let you know how my next appointment goes. Till next time.
2005-12-05 (21 weeks)
Two babies a boy and a GIRL! Okay so Friday, December 2, 2005 I had my second ultrasound appointment to take measurements and hopefully see what baby A was. Well, the twins cooperated and moved into a side by side possition and baby A reveled that she was indeed a girl, and we got to see baby B's parts again and he is still definantly a boy. We have decided that the boy will be Kolby James and the girl will be Hailey Jaye. During the ultrasound the tech checked their heartbeats, measurements, and anatomy. Kobly weighs approximately 1lb1oz and Hailey just below him at 13oz, and both babies had a healthy heartrate and all of their anatomy. After all the excitement that we were having one of each and that they were both doing great the tech did a vaginal ultrasound to measure my cervix. She took the pictures over to Dr. Parker and he was a little concerned that it was shorter than normal. So my options were to do nothing and see how the pregnancy goes or to have a surgery called cerclage done, where they stich my who-who shut so the babies don't fall out. Well according to Dr. Parker it was a better option to have the surgery done so he scheduled me for Tuesday, December 6, 2005 to have this done. My next appointment is December 13.
2005-11-21 (19 weeks)
19 weeks Doctor's appointment
Ok so I went to the doctor on November 17, 2005 for my 19 week checkup. I got to listen to the heartbeats, they found them both right next to each other. One was 152 bpm the other was 156 bpm, which the nurse said was a good thing. My blood pressure was good, and then doc came in..... he pulls out his measuring tape and places it over my belly, WOW I measure 27 weeks already . This can be scary if I'm already that big how much bigger will I get? Guess we will just have to wait and see. I go in for my next appointment on December 2, 2005 and I get an ultrasound so hopefully we will be able to see what little baby A is....hope he/she cooperates with us.
My mom will be here for the ultrasound so I'm really excited to get to see my kids again.

LOOK AT ME!!
Ok so I'm a week behind in putting this up but in a span of only 3 weeks I popped out like you wouldn't believe. One day the only sign of pregnancy is that my pants don't fit and three weeks later my shirts are getting too short and I swallowed a watermelon that I don't remember swallowing. See for yourself.
. This can be scary if I'm already that big how much bigger will I get? Guess we will just have to wait and see. I go in for my next appointment on December 2, 2005 and I get an ultrasound so hopefully we will be able to see what little baby A is....hope he/she cooperates with us.
