Everyone knows how close I am to my family... their support and love throughout all of this means THE WORLD to me. They are, aside from Kenny, my number one support team and I wouldn't be where I am today without them. They're going to be the BEST grandparents to our little munchkin!!!!

And Kenny is going to be the BEST father. I knew from the moment we first hung out that he was The One. That every other a**hole  I have dated before him was just something to pass the time. That the feelings I felt for him were unlike ANYTHING I had ever felt before in all my life. I knew within the first couple of weeks that he was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, and he felt the same way. We always talked about how we wanted a family someday (this convo was around our 2nd month being together) and how much we loved each other. I knew he would be the best father from the type of man he is. He is caring, funny, smart, patient, and has the kindest heart. I am so lucky to have him in my life as my soul mate and now as my baby's father. He and this baby are the best gifts I could have ever received and words can't express how lucky & happy I am!

PS: - I will be 23 when the baby is born, and Kenny will still be 29 .. his birthday is July 24th so he will be a Daddy before he reaches the big 3-0 ! hehe

Not too much going on today .. I am feeling really tired and don't want to eat anything except for chicken noodle soup & saltine crackers.

I really wonder if I am having a boy or a girl .. everyone thinks it's a girl, but I would be happy with either! A boy would be Kenny's little buddy and a girl would be his little princess .. soooooo cute!

They say you can find out the sex around 16 weeks - which is December 16th for me - so around Christmas we will be finding out the sex. Can't wait!!!!!!!

PS - tomorrow I am 7 weeks pregnant

Kenny's test results came in today .. he had the full test done to see if he is a carrier of Cystic Fibrosis (when I first found out I was pregnant on September 18th, he was tested right away for the most common 25 mutations - there are over 1,400 mutations in all that you need further testing done for) .. and all his results show that he is not a carrier of ANY Cystic Fibrosis mutations!!!

This means that there is NO chance our baby will have CF!

We are celebrating the good news tonight!

Today was my second obgyn visit. Everything went super and I had my sonogram done first. Kenny and I saw the little baby on the screen and then the doctor moved the ultrasound stick around and we saw an AWESOME view of the baby. We saw it's tiny heart beating so fast! It was so amazing to see and we are both sooo very happy. Words can not even express! I saw my doctor and she said that everything is perfect and she is very happy for us! I posted a picture of the sonogram we got to take home under the 'Photo Album' section on the left of the page. There will be many pictures taken of this little baby and of my growing tummy, so check there often!

I have been feeling okay - except for the morning sickness (more like afternoon & evening sickness). Any my chest is extremely sore. Also, I'm very tired all the time! Other than that everything is going great!

Today I am 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant .. and my due date is June 1st!

We are sooo excited!!
