Baby has arrived!

2008-07-29  (27 weeks)
27 weeks and 2 days - July 29th 2008 - GLUCOSE TEST

I went in this morning for my glucose test. The drink wasn't bad at all-It was fruit punch flavor and it took me about 2 seconds to drink it:)  I then saw Dr. Roberts. The baby's heart rate is in the upper 140's low 150's. I am at 160lbs! That would total me at a 20 pound weight gain so far. Still pretty good I think! I will have to watch more of what I eat the next 13 weeks!!  I asked a bunch of questions today as far as how she feels about induction and all of that. She said she does not like inducing people but if I don't go into labor in my own by my due date then she will induce me:) She doesn't believe in doing episiotomy's either. I am happy about that. She said they cause alot of future problems for people.  So we will not be doing one of those unless the baby is like 12 pounds and stuck!  I go back in 3 weeks from today for another routine check up and then we will be scheduling my next and last u/s (I asked if we could please do one more:)) before the baby is born. I'm excited for that! Then I will be seeing her every two weeks! This pregnancy truly has gone by way to fast. I'm really going to miss everything about being pregnant!

The baby has gotten SOOO much more active within the last week or so. The kicks have turned into jabs and my stomach is constantly moving around! I love it! I felt a little limb over the weekend..so adorable. Josh and I cannot wait to meet this little person! I'm getting so excited!! 13 weeks to go!!!

2008-07-22  (26 weeks)
26 weeks and 2 days - July 22 2008

Omigosh where is the time going?! I hardly have any time to take a breath it's been so crazy around my house! Busy Busy!! All seems to be going well for baby and I.  He/She is still the most active at night and in the early morning-Not so active during the day and that kind of worries me. I'll be asking about that next week at my OB appointment. I just feel like this little one should be moving more than it is.  I know every pregnancy is different but it's hard not to compare.  This morning I saw my belly jumping all over the place! That was reassuring~  This weekend is my Dad and Kris' benefit I'm hoping that goes well and is very successful considering all of the hours we have put into getting ready for it!! So anyone reading this please stop by Bailey Ray's on July 27th 2008!!!

As far as clothes go...I'm still fitting into alot of my stuff which surprises me but then again I am chasing around a two year old constantly and have been much more active than I was during my first pregnancy!!  I also love that I am not breaking out in zits everywhere like I did before!!

14 weeks to go!!

2008-07-14  (24 weeks)
25 weeks and 1 day - July 14th 2008

Only 15 weeks to go and we'll be meeting our son or daughter for the first time! It's hard to even imagine! Over the weekend Josh and I switched Brielle into her new room and into her brand new bed! She's in a full size bed now! She loves her new room too! Thank goodness too because we were nervous about how she would deal with all of those changes in one day! But she's always been great with change:) Alot like her dad in that respect. We still have alot to do in her room. We are going to be painting this coming weekend and her new bedroom set should be here the first week in August!! I'm very excited to get her room together especially since we never did a "nursery" for her.  I didn't sleep well at all over the weekend because this baby moves constantly all day and ALL NIGHT! I've never dealt with that before!  I'm not complaining though...The movement is reassuring that everything is alright with this little miracle! I was also very sore from all of the flowers I planted outside. I've been way too active:)  I'm thinking about starting my elliptical again today...We'll see if I actually do:)

ps..I need to brag a little bit here...Our daughter is officially completely potty trained!  Mommy and Daddy are SO PROUD of you Brielle!!!! WE LOVE YOU!

2008-07-08  (24 weeks)
24 weeks and 2 days - July 8th 2008

I had another OB appointment this morning and all went well. I'm weighing in at 155 pounds- A 14 pound weight gain so far. Not so bad:) I'm hoping to keep it low this time around!  I measured at 23 1/2 and the heartrate was 162! Going up! Everything is going smoothly still and I will be going in to see Dr. Roberts again at the end of this month for my glucose test. That appointment will be an hour long she said.  The baby is really starting to kick hard and move around a ton! I love feeling him or her squirm around! Josh has been feeling it too:) Usually he/she stops moving the second Josh puts his hands on my belly! This baby also gets the hiccups ALOT! Just like with our daughter- She had them all of the time too when I was pregnant with her. Today I was told I need to take some Calcium supplements along with my pre-natals since I am experiencing alot of leg and foot cramping at night.

Josh and I came up with a list of 4 possible girl names and 4 possible boy names..Josh decided he will name the baby if it's a boy and i will get to name the girl!
