closer... Well it sure has been a while since i've written anything! *he* actually watched Super Nanny last night - voluntarily! (usually he makes me change the channel if it's anything to do with babies or families *L*) And then today he said he was actually considering having a family ;) so i said, something about us starting to try next year and he didn't say anything (which is a good thing i think). anyway, just getting my hopes up once again, but i'm hoping for a ring this year...we'll see.

this might take a while... So i've kept bringing up all kinds of pregnancy words, baby names, and hints of marriage to my boyfriend (we've lived together for over 3 years...). On Saturday, him and i went to the states with my mom. We were in Meijer getting some lotion and my boyfriend grabs two pregnancy tests and says "which one do you want?" I said, don't tease me or i'm gonna have to get pregnant! it was funny, and i like that he's actually kind of humoring me about it. i think i'll give it a rest and let all my little hints sink in... please keep your fingers crossed for me.
I also want to note that i was talking to my sister on the phone yesterday, and told her i wanted a baby (she has 2 children now). She asked if i thought i was ready (i am...). i think she was happy to hear it and she started talking about us being pregnant together (she would like at least one more!) and how she'd babysit, even for a whole weekend, and i could use her "hand-me-downs" such as the cute bassinet and the crib. As much as i'd like to have new stuff, i know her furniture is in mint condition and it's very cute and hey, the more money we can save the better. why not?
I'm lame, i know...i'm totally blaming my biological clock on this!
...Another thing! my boyfriend told me he asked one of the press guys at work this morning how long he was with his girlfriend before he asked her to marry him (see, i got him thinking ;) T

Not Yet So it's not quite my time yet. I'm pretty much one of the few people i know who have not yet had kids or been married. However, we just bought a house Jan 13/06 so i think we both feel like we need to settle down a bit...finish organizing, and start saving. maybe then, things'll pick up.
I just got really excited about the thought of having a baby recently. I missed a pill a couple weeks ago (Feb 17/06) and since then i've felt weird...naseaus, dull back ache. i'm sure it's just cuz everyone at work seems to be sick and i probably just have a touch of whatever's going around...but the thought had entered my mind, and just hasn't left.
I stumbled upon this website 2 days ago while trying to find a quiz to see if i would be a good mom (i get bored on my 15 min breaks at work! :), and i found a blog by Krissmisstree (i think)...and it was just so neat and i felt really excited for this girl, Kristen (if you're reading this, i'm very happy for you :) Anyway, i did end up finding a quiz today and i did very well for an "encouraging future mom" (but it was for older kids, not newborns...oh well, i'll keep searching)
