pants issue oh my gosh i can't do up my pants! i had to put my jeans in the dryer so i could wear them (cuz nothing else fits me. all i can wear to work are my 2 pairs of jeans!) today and i cannot get the button done up. DH is like "don't squish your tummy" haha...he's cute. looking out for the baby
i had a dream last night that my friend "N" emailed me in April and said, i'm so happy to be starting a family. i'm past the first trimester now, and we're due in August" (well, she'd be well past the first trimester i think, but anyway...)
i just wanted to note that...just in case
anyway, still nauseas this morning, but not as bad. mango orange juice helped me this morning after my cereal. now i'm eating sour/tart grapefruit. bleh.
2008-03-05 (5 weeks)
nausea so the nausea has begun to set in as of yesterday. it's such a weird feeling. now, even worse, i don't like the thought of eating most foods. i can't even think about frozen veggies BLEHHHH.
yesterday i was sooo uncomfortable, i felt like i should have stayed home from work. today is a bit better. i'm just sort of taking it easy. i only had a bit of cereal and that took me a while to eat, and then later before work, i had half a grapefruit. i tried to drink some cranberry juice but for some reason it burned my tongue just like the kiwi that i had before did. so strange. i guess i can't eat tangy things really.
also, i had to pee a lot yesterday and my coworker was right on top of that one, saying "you sure are going to the bathroom a lot, are you sure you're not pregnant?" i just held up my almost emptied water bottle and said something like "ya i don't think so." and then today, i go to the bathroom just ONCE this morning (well, since she got here...work) and she says "so baby's pushing on the bladder eh?" AHHHHH... i'm going to have to just tell her soon. i said "so i'm not allowed to pee?" and "what, do you think i'm getting fat?" haha.
2008-03-01 (4 weeks)
REALLY HAPPY ANNIVERSARY :) i'm kind of warming up to the funky nursery theme. i guess it would make more sense to have something "cool" and then they can use pieces of it later...
we'll see what happens i guess. still have a while to go before we do that stuff.
i feel like cleaning out my office and and moving stuff into DH's, but i think it's too early for that too. maybe in a couple months. i can't wait for spring. spring cleaning, our garage sale...and most importantly, baby and i will be in the "safe zone!!!"

put the thermometer away! today was my last day taking my temps! i got 36.90 and that's high enough for me. i'm happy.
my dad talked to me yesterday, without knowing that i was worried until i told him later. he said i should tell my sister (which i've contemplated too, but i really want to see her reaction! we'll be there next weekend so...). i said we'll tell my grandma before we go to kw, but i want my parents there too cuz i need them to reinforce the "no-telling" thing cuz i still only want most people to know once i'm in the "safe" zone.
a girl at DH's work, Carla, guessed that i was pregnant cuz DH kept talking to the pregnant girl, Brooke, and asking her questions so Carla put 2 and 2 together! haha. DH was like...whhhhhhhaaaat???? nooooooo. and he mentioned his sister-in-law cuz she had a baby in Dec (she's cute).
