blood work at about 12:50pm i went to get my blood work done. my doc said to get it done between May 17 & 31.
i scored an awesome parking spot, which was nice as at first i was having no luck. got another 2 viles of blood drawn and my arm ISN'T sore this time.
anyway, can't wait to see you, baby, on June 16! hope you're growing and developing really well :) the belly's definitely getting bigger! a couple weeks ago...when i was close to 3 1/2 weeks...some lady DH knows who works at Sunripe was like "you're huge! i wasn't that big until i was 5 months" (yaaa well, i'm tiny...i can't help it!) It's okay though cuz my friend Mic said (on Sunday when she stopped in for about 1/2 hour - she wanted to see your pics) i don't look pregnant except for my belly...so that was nice to hear :) as long as i look, and AM, healthy and keeping baby healthy that's all that matters.
back to eating my pear... (got everyone fooled...i might have a Thincrisps later if i'm still hungry before the work day is over)

uh oh (Revolution) May 15 - DH applied puppy's Revolution (topical liquid) so i wouldn't be exposed to it. stupid me forgot, and 10 mins later, i petted her... not sure if i touched her shoulder blades or not, but i didn't feel anything wet, so i didn't notice... another 10 mins later, i petted her again and this time i realized DUHHH and washed my hands, twice. Since it was late, i called the vet's office the next morning (and sent an email to my friend Mon, who is a vet tech), and they said chances are the baby and i are fine (i've touched it before, and was fine...no rash or skin irritation) said to mention the 15mg of selamectin to my OB-GYN to be safe. my doctor said as long as i didn't inhale or ingest it, we should be fine. it's such a small amount. i also called Revolution - they have a human exposure line! it brought me to a poison control centre. they basically said the same thing, chances are everything's okay and it was a small amount on the dog, so if i was exposed to any, it couldn't have been much (Mon said the same thing) - especially since i didn't feel any wetness on my hand.
still, i worry. i feel like i wasn't exposed to much, if any... i felt a bunch of movement that night as i laid in bed... but until today (May 20) i hadn't felt much more.
May 20 - (continued from above) today i sneezed, and felt a bunch of movement afterwards so that made me happy. less than a month until our final ultrasound!
i'm also slightly BROKE as i bought DH a PS3 for b-day, anniversary, father's day, and Christmas (and my parents chipped in $100 too)... i'm sooo glad it's a 3-pay week month. i think that saved me for sure! Friday, DH ordered our crib and combo hutch, in espresso! a new colour for "Ellis"...which is weird cuz in Canada, Ellis is discontinued and the name is changed to Sydney... so i guess if our baby is a Sydney, she won't have a Sydney crib...but that's okay :) i just hope everything ships okay since it's coming all the way from California.

hey baby i think i might have felt you move on monday, and yesterday after i sneezed...it kind of felt like maybe you elbowed me...or kicked me.
almost one more month till we get to see you again, and find out if you're a Sydney or a Lucas! :)
i'm feeling better lately... i ate lemon pepper chicken on the weekend, and leftovers not last night, but the night before. it was sooo yummy. i still had a hard time with corn on the cob though.
5 1/2 months left, until we get to meet you! :)

3rd Gift... & my peek into mother's day i suppose you could say yesterday was my first mother's day :)
DH gave me a "mother-to-be" card :) and he said he's going to buy me some clothes cuz my God i have none *L* And then my sis was dropped off by her DH and we got Mother's Day dinner ready, and she helped me with a few other things like cleaning the patio furniture, etc so that was super nice. (it was so funny...the night before i was just bawling... i was stirring boiling pasta and crying away - happy tears of course *L* i was thinking about becoming a mom... i still can't believe it sometimes :)
my sis also brought us a cute Winnie The Pooh picture frame (with room for a hand print). it'll look nice in the "baby's room"
i was worried this morning on my way to work b/c i had cramping on my left side. not long after though, i figured out that it was probably cramps from sleeping on my left side. the cramps went down to my legs - just like when i would get period cramps (TMI, i know...sorry... ) and that had me a little worried...they weren't strong, so i was hoping they wouldn't get stronger....and tried to relax.
