baby's moving more yesterday i felt baby move a lot, and i felt baby move a little bit today already.. it's not even 9am.
i have lots to write, but i'm at work, so i'll have to come back...

4th prenatal appointment: 10am today i only had to wait about 5 minutes before the nurse came to get me - that was awesome. and i had my pee cup ready to go, so i didn't have to bother with that when i arrived.
i weigh 103, so i've gained 2 pounds since my last visit.
i didn't hear anything about my blood pressure, so i'm assuming it's a.o.k.
my doctor used the doppler on my belly today, which was awesome seeing as i haven't really felt the baby move much since last thursday...me, being a worrier, i knew i would be. i mean i'm not REALLLLY worried, it's more like i just want to have the reassurance. So it was awesome hearing baby's heartbeat again. still beating pretty quick! (which is good!) and we could hear my pulse rate as well, and the blood going to the placenta (makes a swishing noise in the background - pretty crazy to hear bloodflow!!)
my doctor also felt where the top of my uterus is and said it's right where it's supposed to be, and told me "it's a good size!" (he said it almost like happily, like wow it's a good size! :)
so all good news, so that makes me happy and i was sooo glad to hear the heartbeat - the highlight of my day, of course :)
also, i asked how long i should be on diclectin for... he said it's completely safe and if i had to, i could be on it for my whole pregnancy - which of course, i don't want to do. he also said it was good that i tried going off it, just to see if i still even need it, and to try it every week or so. i'm thinking i'll go off it on a friday night this time...just so i can feel barfy on a sunday, rather than a monday. throwing up at work sucked. maybe next week i'll go off it again for a day or two.
another thing, was i asked him if he'd heard of duct tape for plantar's warts...and he said it's more so to seal them off, and most people prefer to put one drop of diofilm or duofilm (i have it written down in my wallet anyway - and i asked if it would hurt the baby, he said "ohhh no") and THEN use the duct tape for a couple of days (you can change it if you want). he said it works better than using a band-aid (which i have on my one toe right now...gross eh?), and that duct tape is basically like using the doctor's tape that they use when they put the stronger salicylic acid on the plantar's warts.
anyway, that was mine & baby's doctors visit today.... all is good :) let's hope it stays that way :)
it's almost daddy's b-day - June 1! so i'm going to make quesadilas and i ordered a DQ 8" reeses blizzard icecream cake. unfortunately i cannot eat it as i asked the girl there and they are made out of hardened soft serve ice cream... i just found out that soft serve may contain listeria. bad bad bad (saw it on TMZ last night... they were telling pregnant Tori Spelling who was serving baskin robin's soft serve ice cream to a whole bunch of pregnant women. i guess i believe them... i could do more research on it i suppose, but until then, why risk it?). i also bought dad a giant star wars music card - $10!!! he better appreciate it :) it actually physically rumbles when you open it. anyway, gotta go as he's standing right here! ;o)

back on diclectin...i tried my coworker is off today... i almost called in sick too. i stopped taking my diclectin (nausea relief pills) - saturday night i didn't take one, just to see if i still need them anymore. yesterday i felt great. today, not so great. as soon as i walked in the door to our office i just gagged. our office has this awful dry smell. so this is a new record, first time getting sick at work. it sucked. i guess i have to go back on those pills :( my doctor says their safe... they better be....
last night i couldn't sleep...i think i may have gotten 2 hours. i have pregnancy congestion and couldn't breathe through my nose. and i have sunburned legs...just the lower halves on the front, so that kept me a little warmer than normal. when i did get a bit of sleep, i had crazy dream... i was giving birth and it was so quick i didn't even remember it...probably 20 minutes, and i was out of the hospital within an hour or 2. so fast that they didn't even help me learn to breast feed. the baby was a girl, but half black and half asian - and i didn't cheat (never would, not even in dreams! :o)... and she had long hair, and 2 front teeth (perfect for breast feeding! :P ) DH said, when i told him this morning about my dream, "well i hope that's not true." i said "no, i'd never cheat on you!" and he said "no, that the baby's a girl." haha... he really wants a boy. (although i know he'll be happy either way. i keep saying it's a girl though!)

lots of kicks all through lunch, and even now that i'm back at work, i'm getting lots of little kicks (or so i think!...pretty sure!!!). baby are you bored in there? hope everything's okay...
also, last night when DH got home, i was on the phone with my sis asking her what's good to register for - we're going to Toys R Us tonight to register for a few items, and get most of that done... DH had place a bag behind me on the couch and i didn't notice... he went into the kitchen and says "Happy Anniversary." i look at him funny... he points... a Snoogle!!!! so i tried it out last night (it's one of those long pillows that curl around your body basically). it works pretty good!! my belly tingles when i lay on my left side...i think it's cuz baby has moved up and it feels like the baby just flops down with my belly *L*...not that my belly is flabby! it just sags to the left when i lay on my left side (whatever, i'm sure it happens to everyone *L*). anyway, last night and the night before i've really noticed it, and the tingling... the snoogle helped a lot i think though! at first it was kind of too thick for my belly (cuz it's not that big yet) but DH got my bean bag pillow and that was uncomfortable so i just readjusted the snoogle and it felt better.
still feeling kicking... maybe baby's breakdancing? or wants out? hopefully just playing in there...figuring things out...
my friend Nat is nauseated - woohoo! not cuz she feels crappy, but as a sign that everything is going good this time around :) YAYYYY :)
i was just reading about kicking (taking a quick work break)... this almost made me cry :)
When you're in labor and working hard and anticipating those first cries, remember to take a moment and feel those last movements of the baby inside your body. Believe it or not you will miss them!
